Ozeri Green Earth frying pan review

Vegetarian omelette

So as you probably know we are always looking at new ways to be greener and eco friendly and use products that consider the environment while still being practical. So I was more than excited to try out and review an Ozeri - Green Earth Pan and I am delighted to say I am very impressed with the product as it offers superior quality but uses a ceramic coating derived from nature and is completely eco-friendly and produces no harmful fumes which normal frying pans can under high temperatures.

So what makes the Ozeri pans so great

1. Well for one they are very stylish - I love the green colour scheme and it gives a pop of colour to the kitchen and stands out from the other boring pans I have. It also has a comfortable silicon coated handle.

2. Superior non-stick, scratch-resistant performance means that you only need to use the tinniest of oil.

3. Ultra-safe 100% PTFE and PROA free with no harmful heavy metals or chemicals. The pan is also oven safe.

Mini Corn and Hummus - love it

The first thing I cooked on my little 20cm pan was some baby corn, I literally used 1/4 teaspoon of Olive oil and a little bit of water, I sautéed them for around 5-6 mins until tender and paired then up with some low-fat hummus, perfect midday snack.

The second thing I rustled up in the pan was a mushroom and leek omelette. I had these veggies lying around from my Riverford box and wanted to make something light and tasty for lunch and omelettes are quick, easy and fairly healthy to make and it also gave me the chance to really test out the non-stick claim. I have to say after add the veg first and lightly sautéing them for a few minutes and adding the heated eggs and cooking on a low heat and then transferring to under the grill to brown the top the omelettes came away from the pan with no problems.

The pan is also super easy to clean as it has a textures surface which further helps prevent food bonding to the pan - bonus!

I was provided a frying pan to do a review, I was not paid and my opinions, words and thoughts are 100% my own.
