Ethical Summer Style Inspiration

It's been a while since I did a summer style inspired post and even though I am still trying to minimalise my life I'm also in need of a few key pieces moving forward into summer that is fun, versatile and perfect for festivals, travel and exploring. I think with age I have become more experimental with clothing and as they say, fashion should be fun! Little Freddie Organic Food - their Journey so Far

If your a regular reader you may already know that for the past year I have been working as an ambassador with the family-run organic baby and toddler food brand called Little Freddie and have seen it flourish and go from strength to strength. Having met up with the small but passionate team last year in London, trying out some flavours before they were even on the market, adding feedback to packaging and seeing that being taken onboard and hearing the fantastic news that they had taken massive steps to make all of their pouches fully recyclable, watching my toddler gulp down their organic snacks with so much delight and seeing their range grow from pouches to smoothies and fingers foods, has been a really special experience for me. A low waste Pledge All parents can commit too

Last week I went to a fantastic and inspiring Warrior Women event in Cardiff, the theme was Environmental with an excellent panel made up of an ethical blogger , a Vegan cafe entrepreneur and a ZeroWaste shop owner. Having a personal interest in being more environmentally aware I found the talks very interesting, full of positivity and hearing each ones story and journey was empowering. The only (tiny) disconnect I had is that none of these women were mothers, now being an independent woman who doesn't appreciate being put into the box of "motherhood" as a single summary of my life and interest and insist on being seen as a Woman, Sister, Daughter, Parent, Business owner and Freelancer, I also cannot deny the massive impact having children and a family have on a household and one's ability to be more eco-conscious.
