Lucky Boy in Ralph Lauren

19/03/2013

We have been meaning to do a trip to London for a while, so when we had the chance to view the new Ralph Lauren children's wear SS13 collection at their kids store in London, we couldn't turn down the chance, especially since we all have been fans of the label for years and sums up our ethos of less is more, as well as making clothes for children with an active outdoor lifestyle. Ralph Lauren's children's wear is made to be treasured and from our experience they are also made to last, with beautiful tailoring and seasonal on trend but yet classic and timeless garments are a good investment for any little boy or girl. The store itself in Fulham road is amazing, it truly is a treasure trove of fun and fashion for children and I wish more shops where this truly child friendly as the children are encouraged to play, with friendly staff who love to entertain, a drawing table, fish tank, beautiful vintage rocking horse and 1950's red car for the boys its like a dream come true in terms of retail both for parents and children. Another great attribute to the store is that they locally source the interior so things like the vintage airplane and car come from local stores which can be specially ordered if you fall in love with them as much as we did.

We had fun trying on some outfits for Mr A, some lovely chino's, a beautiful shirt and white polo and then two lovely cardigans, one of which was a light pastle blue with a very cute pattern on it and the other was an Native American inspired print roll top cardigan which is exquisitely made, thick and warm but also fun and really fit Mr A's personality

The trip to the shop was amazing, in fact a magical experience and we cannot wait to visit again. Mr A was very chuffed with his RL bag and they even put a little Ralph Lauren colouring book inside.

Ralph Lauren Kids also has two amazing events happening this week and are a real must if you are in the area. The first is happening this wednesday (20th), an Easter Party in support of The Lyla Nsouli Foundation Children's brain cancer research and is RSVP - if you would like to attend please email UK.events@ralphlauren.com. It's taking place at their Fulham store from 4pm-6pm and 15% of all sales will be donated to the charity. There is going to be entertainment from Sharky and George as well as a petting zoo, mini manicures for girls, easter egg hunt and catering.

The second event is happening on Saturday 23rd March from 11am-5pm at the main Ralph Lauren store in Bond street and is going to be an amazing day. With entertainment from Sharky an George, face-painting, games, an easter egg hunt and catering this is going to be real fun for the whole family.

We loved the new seasons colours, from pastels to pin-strips and florals to classics there is something for everyone. The girls line is beautiful with lovely little touches and floral prints throughout the season. The wonderful thing is how subtle everything is nothing is over branded. There are fun and everyday items through to blazers, shirts and ties for the smarter occasion. We loved the bow tie and are waiting for any excuse to buy it. Here are our fav pics from the SS13 collection
