Stress-Free Luxury Travel with Kids is Possible

I am pretty easy going when it comes to where, how and who we travel with whether it be inter-railing across Europe, enjoying a chic city break or getting muddy in the countryside, from family friendly glamping to high end hotels as long as you do your research nothing should have to be off limits. John however prefers the comforts of a good hotel with excellent amenities and I really like being able to cook my own meals which is why I often lean towards self catering so we tend do a mixture of both. If you are one who likes the finer things in life you really don't have to worry or feel that because you have children your travel preferences have to change, of course, you may now be more open-minded in your approach but a luxury holiday shouldn't be off the cards especially as travel is such a great opportunity for kids to learn about different countries and cultures. There are also plenty of luxury glamping options such as a private luxury lodge that   give the feeling......

Summer Ready with Serengeti

After having a little preview to summer over the past few weeks with a couple of warm and sunny days it certainly means the summer clothes, shorts and dresses are coming out and I am really looking forward to a hot summer (fingers crossed). What I love about summer is simplifying things, not having to wear layers and accessorising any outfit with some sandals, summer hats and stylish sunglasses - put all of those things together and you have the holiday summer look down wether your travelling abroad or staying closer to home. I recently picked up this upcycled Ralph Lauren shirt which has been turned into a dress from Topshop reclaim collection which gives life back to vintage clothes in a fun and modern way, it's also a really ethical choice and I love that most of the collection pieces are one-offs. I have paired it up with my Docs and these stylish black Serengeti Sunglasses . I was offered these sunglasses from Discounted Sunglasses which offers a range of designe......

Awesome Gift Ideas for Fathers Day

I always feel that Dads get a little typed cast and opting for a gift box of Lynx is certainly not going to cut the mustard. As they say it's the thought that counts and of course it does which is why instead of purchasing a few things that are not actually useful or realistically will be used what is the point? I always feel less is more and getting one very thoughtful gift is far better than a few cliche buys. I have been working with Braun to share my thoughts on sensitive Dads and how their whole world changes when they become parents just like us mums. You can read more about it here . Of course the Braun Series 3 ProSkin is a fantastic option for Dads this year and a number one choice but I thought I would share a few other unique gifts for the man in your life.  1. Klean Kanteen insulated steel bottle by Patagonia £29 2. Fjallraven Greenland Backpack £105  3. Ralph Lauren Breton Striped Top £95 4. Asos Vintage round sunglasses £12......

Autumn Style and October Beauty Essentials

I have been giving my wardrobe a little overhaul lately and rediscovered these Autumn brown chinos I picked up from the Oxfam Boutique store in Cardiff city centre about two years ago and totally forgot about them, perhaps because not long after getting them I feel pregnant and let's just say they have no give in them so quickly were made redundant but I'm really enjoying wearing them now and thats the fantastic thing about putting clothes away during the summer to be welcomes again at the change of the season. I also find Autumn not only the time for jumpers but also long sleeved shirts and this Vero Moda one has always been a bit of a favourite as I am huge fan of monochrome and love the white with the black edges. I've paired it up with my Ralph Lauren bag and Bronx Brogues for a simple and causal look perfect for a spot of lunch in the city. I don't know about you but I certainly find this time of the year really starts to take a toll on my ski......

Street Style - My Kanken

Since my youngest has started running around like really keeping me on my toes I have dropped the changing backs and wanted to opt for something more practical but also very stylish to carry our day to day essentials. Of course, the first thing that came to mind was a Kanken by the Swedish outdoor brand Fjall Raven, a backpack that was designed in 1978 and has continued its popularity through it's simple and modern design. Wearing Kanken backpack, Toyshop chambray, Jojo Mama Bebe dress Sometimes when I do go out I opt for a smarter bag but these are perfect for when your busy and on the go, plus the choice of colour waves is amazing. I decided to opt for this fun blue one which adds a pop of colour to any casual outfit. Today I paired it up with a Chambray from Toyshop and a dress from Jojo Mama Bebe and necklace from Anchor and Crew. As daily backpacks go these are these are slightly more pricey than normal high street brands (but far more durable) retailing at a......

Ultimate Fathers Day Gift Guide

Are you feeling a little stuck or uninspired in the run up to fathers day? Or simply looking for something a little bit different or unusual? Well I have put together a fun and interesting gift guide which should of have something for everyone, regardless of budget. First of all some of you may already know I have been working with Braun and John personally put the beard trimmer to the test so if your looking to have your man neaten up his unruly beard than the Braun Beard Trimmer is a winner. If you want to tap into their interests wether he be an extreme junki, a fitness freak or rather prefer to spend his days with a beer in hand and a bbq going then these three options are worth looking at. First is the Black Belt Beer Box from Beer Hawk which includes 4 distinctly different beers along with a black belt beer guide so Dad can begin his journey of discovery, best of all it's currently selling for a special price of £12 (normally £20) If you are not 100% sure......

Sunday Style - Black pattern dress

I am slowly switching up my wardrobe with a few practical pieces as I am still breast-feeding baby G although he is going for longer periods during the day time and recently John and I managed a quick little lunch date so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to wear this little patterned black dress from H&M. I have never been a huge dress wearer, perhaps because I have always found them restrictive in some way but this dress is perfect for me as it's loose fitting, very soft and I love the side pockets and I could easily wear this all day. Black and monochrome have always been natural choices for myself but I am always looking at ways to add some colour or extra dimension to an outfit such as this pattern and have paired it up with a geometric necklace from Top Shop, Jacket from M&S, Gold slip-ons from Zara and a Ralph Lauren Bag, for an easy casual springtime look. Some of you may have also noticed an added accessory - my glasses. I have been experien......

Street Style - Infinities Menswear

It's not often I catch John laughing or smiling on camera, not that he is a grumpy guy but rather just a very reserved person although he has a very dry sense of humour, in this shot he was making fun of how I stand for outfit posts and was doing some pretty hilarious versions, although it's nice to show a lighthearted moment. I may have mentioned this before on the blog but John is extremely meticulous and particular about what he wears, his style and wardrobe is far more curated than mine, I am at times not sure of what direction I want to go in but there is something good about knowing what works for you and feeling comfortable in that style. He approach is a very simple one, less is more, quality over quantity and looking after your clothes properly - he has a pair of Red Wings which are more than 15yrs old but they certainly don't look it. So when Infinities got in touch asking what John would actually like for Valentines day over chocolate or stuffed a......
