Signs of Spring

heart shaped leaf
Our beautiful skeleton heart leaf we found

So we have had some beautiful spring days over the past week, and of course we used them to the full, we have been exploring the local park with all it's little flower buds, twigs and fallen leaves which we have been collecting for our nature table at home. We had a lovely picnic out on the grass and watched ant's march up the wall. It was so nice to feel the sun on my face, even though it was short-lived. You can really start to feel the change in the season with it being lighter till later and all the flowers starting to bloom. We also had our first day of the year outside in just a jumper (warm jumper that is) instead of a winter jacket or mac. Little Mr A was also determined to wear his crocs
spring

We are very lucky to have a nice river walk not too far from our house, as little Mr A loves to look for ducks. We also collected some daisy which Mr A would pick and I would hold, there is something very summery and fun about daisy's, although they do make me sneeze, but hey we love being outdoors so bring on summer :)

  1. I've popped over from Country Kids. Absolutely beautiful photos! We still have a foot of snow (East Coast US!) so seeing some photos of spring is just lovely - and I'm very jealous :)

  4. Beautiful stuff. I love the leaf pic. The only signs of Spring we have here are the lighter mornings and evenings. Minus temperatures today! Crazy.
