Huntstile Organic Farm Part 2

08/09/2015

So after a manic past few weeks I have finally found the time to put together a little vlog about our stay at the beautiful Huntstile Organic Farm in Somerset this summer as part of Dorset Cereals search for the Best B&B in the UK, you can see my first instalment about this wonderful B&B here. It truly was one of our highlights of the summer as we had three blissful days of sunshine, wide open spaces to roam and explore, delicious breakfast each morning and a relaxing pace of life, we couldn't ask for anything more really.

I often think the more simple the break the better, we didn't have any grand plans of what to do but mainly enjoyed the surrounds and the owners of Huntstile really encourage you to explore the farm, have a wander around the vegetable garden and poly tunnels, feeding the farm animals in the morning to relaxing in the large living room cozying up with a book and a cup of coffee.

While we were in Somerset we did do a little day trip to the coast looking for seashells and fossils (we had been told it was a good each for fossils) when then had a spot of cream tea and Mr A's case a ice-cream before heading back to the farm and an evening walk up to the Stone Circle.

Huntstile is one of those places I am pretty sure we will visit again soon, especially as John couldn't come with us this time and Somerset is a part of the world we really want to explore more. The farm also makes an amazing venue for weddings, in fact Nicholas Cage's son got married here not that long ago and I can totally see why, there is something magical about it.

Thanks to Dorset Cereals for inviting us to stay at Huntstile Organic Farm
