Collaboration post  I have to say I don't wear or own that much jewellery but every single piece I do own is very special to me and has been carefully selected for one reason or another and each has their own story. I always believe in less is more so I rather invest in a piece I love than have lots of low-quality pieces. I have a beautiful silver anchor necklace from anchor & crew I haven't taken off in a few years and it's my way of sharing my love of the ocean and travel and it's one of the newer pieces I own, but I often buy second hand and for a variety of reasons. Well what a year, full of ups and downs and everything thrown in-between. 2018 saw a real movement to normalising things like Mental Health issues and getting more people sharing and talking about their own experiences, also the huge shift to Body positivity , owning your body and feeling less guilting about being a bit more selfish and making time for self care. Woman in general have also taken somewhat of a centre stage in standing up for our rights and using more platforms to have a voice and be heard. Diversity has also been key, what makes one person happy doesn't apply to others and that needs to be respected, health and fitness means different things to different people but doing what feels good is key and that is something that should follow through into 2019. Capturing Your Childs Wild Side With Forrest & Fox

I really enjoyed featuring and showcasing local talent and small businesses and as some may know that I studied photography at University so its certainly something I am passionate about and I always get very excited when I come across creative projects that are inspiring and unique, especially from home grown independent businesses. Don't commit another Gift Crime

With my eldest birthday this week and my birthday last week it has been a time of both giving and receiving in our household. When it come to Birthdays (and Christmas) we are very much about Less is More and rather pick a few quality gifts than hundreds of plastic toys which will break in a matter of hours. This means that the few gifts we do pick have to be both meaningful, practical and of course perfect for the individual receiving them, this does however causes some pressure on us to get it right, as it can be really easy to get it wrong. I have to say I am pretty lucky as John has really good taste when it comes to clothes, books and music and I am very rarely am I disappointed in anyway but that doesn't extended to everyone. While I was at Uni studying photography I assisted at a few weddings then after graduating started my own business (although realised it's not really for me) have attended a fair few weddings, add in the weddings of family and friends as well and you would think that I would be a bit jaded by now, but when someone does something a little different it's still so much fun to attend them. Canopy & Stars Collective

The sunning bath inside the treehouse.  Last month Baby G and I hopped over the border into England for an exciting little shindig with a few other bloggers at the stunning Harptree Court to learn more about the very stylish and unique luxury glamping holiday company that is Canopy & Stars and being already being fans of C&S I couldn't wait to hear more over a relaxed lunch in beautiful surroundings with friends. Harptree itself is a stunning property located in the heart of Somerset only half an hour from Bristol, and it houses two C&S properties in the form of a luxury treehouse and beautiful yurt, as well beautiful B&B rooms in the actually Manor house. Kids interior chic

We are currently finishing up redecorating Mr A's bedroom, walls are painted, shelves are up, toy box up cycled and now we are on a search for a new bed as it's been long overdue for him to move from his toddler bed to a full sized one. He wants a small cabin bunk bed or something at least fun and unusual, now we don't particularly like novelty interiors and furniture but Cuckooland and Made.com have such unique and inspiring pieces that capture childhood and chic perfectly, such as these fun teepee beds and bunks with dens below.
