A special little Outfit Post

I'm wearing Jacket - Topshop, T-shirt - Enigma, Jeans - Diesel, Creepers - Barratts Watch - Guess So just after Christmas I managed to pick up this lovely and warm denim Jacket from Topshop (alas not in the sale though). I really needed something to update my wardrobe as it's been a while (a very long while) and being a huge fan of the classic denim and enjoying the current 90's revival I fell in love with this jacket. I wanted to get something that was versatile, practical but also stylish and on trend and I feel like I have found it in this jacket, which was a very special treat, if you read on you will find out why. The little man looking cool in his new sweater and converse With so many thing going on in our lives - moving house and all the stress coming with that, having to pay the dreaded stamp duty just before Christmas and then being hit by Christmas as well as our car giving up the ghost once and for all it left very little in the pot in terms of ......

Ultimate summer driving playlist

So with two festivals under our belt this summer and a few little getaways, it means that we have spent quite a lot of time in the car and anyone knows when you embark on an awesome road trip you need an equally awesome playlist to pop into the car stereo to put you in the mood for fun and adventure. With Camp Bestival being just over a 3hour drive we needed something not only to inspire our trip but also to keep us alert and focused on a long trip, as nothing keeps you more wide and awake than singing along to your favourite tunes. So when Money Super Market asked me to share our favourite tunes we couldn't wait. I went for a chilled theme with influences from rock, folk and everything in between and when it comes to music it can be a real personal choice so we went for a pre-festival chill out mix. What makes a road trip soundtrack even better is having a decent sound system with the  best under seat subwoofer as this will make a huge difference to the overall experie......

Hat Envy

I am in love with this hat...it needs to happen. I have always been a fan of studs and embellishments and this just takes it too the next level, it's very brash and bold but it has that sort of "it's so wrong but yet so right quality about it". Best of all it's in my price range - only £19.99, saw in company magazine and loving it. Jackee mix stud gold flap cap from missguided ...

McQueen and Westwood a British Affair

With so many reasons to celebrate what is great about Britain, whether is be the Jubilee, Wimbledon or the Olympics, it's been hard not to get into the swing of things with bunting hanging in every kitchen and cream tea's back on the menu. It's made me think about the amazing home-grown fashion designers this country has produced over the past few years. With two of my all time favourites being Vivienne Westwood and the late Alexander McQueen , if only I could wake up tomorrow with an array of bags and clothes in my wardrobe by these two iconic designers I would be a very happy girl. It's hard not to love these two designers who take there influence from the British Punk movement and if you like me love stud’s, blacks, prints and anything rock and roll they are ones to check out. I have for many years lusted over the Alexander McQueen knuckle duster clutch and one day I will hopefully own one, even though I am a very minimalist person in myself I believe in inve......

Dr Martens first loves

I am loving the Lookbook.nu collaboration with Dr Martens for the First and Forever Spring/summer 2012 collection. They picked some bloggers and LookBook users to style some of their new shoes - with great success. The campaign is all about your first love with Dr Martens - everyone remembers their first pair....I had mine when I was 13 and discovering Nirvana and Soundgarden. I think they have come a long way though from the typical grunge look and developed the brand into unique everyday shoes. You can share your experience at #FIRSTANDFOREVER . I don't really use LookBook....I have always lean towards chictopia - but that's simply down to time, either way they have some great street style bloggers and loads of inspiration. Here are some of my favourite picks from the collaboration ...

Fun Halloween Shoes by Iron Fist

So I happen to stumble across these shoes by Iron Fist, and thought they where super fun for Halloween. I had heard of Iron Fist a while back when I used to work in a clothing store in Cape Town, as the founders of Iron Fist are South African but are now based in San Diego and the label is really starting to take off. Iron Fist though is not for the faint-hearted as their designs and artwork are bold, loud and colourful taking inspiration from skate, punk, hip-hop and tattoo culture. They already have some pretty glamorous celebs sporting there stuff such as Tommy Lee, Britney Spears and band The Sounds. ...

Alexander McQueen Knuckle duster clutch

Alexander McQueens new Knuckle duster clutch bag.........a really edgy punky clutch...personally, I love loads of interesting rings and now you can combine this with a bag to make a real statement - I want it! They are all hard case clutches and come in different colours and materials, you can also buy the knuckle duster jewellery part by itself. Really interesting design and even though they are small the speak volumes. ...
