*Contains Affiliate links  Gift buying can be stressful. Knowing that your gift matches the taste of the recipient is something that will be on your mind as no one wants to waste money & getting something practical and needed is a more sustainable choice that just getting a gift for the sake of it. You want to know that the gift that you are buying will be received well and will be appreciated. Gift buying can get even more challenging when it comes to choosing suitable presents for couples and recently I've found this out with my friends who are either getting married, moving in with each other or expecting a child. While you could buy separate gifts a combined gift is less waste and often less time consuming although you will have two different people’s tastes to meet, not just one so it can feel like buying for a couple is double the stress. Here are some tips for getting the right gift for a couple. An Experience Experiences are something that can create lo......

Your wedding photographs are the witnesses of your love

This is one of my favourite wedding photographers I have taken, such a beautiful couple. I remember when I saw for the first time in my life, the wedding photos of my parents. Being just a kid, I fell in love with those pictures. Even though I am a tomboy I think that somewhere in every girl is the dream, imagining yourself in that dress (or suit), walking down the isle and standing next to your soul mate. I really want to share with you my experience of shooting photos at weddings and what it means to the clients. A wedding is one of those special days that should always be remembered. The best way to get the event transformed into an everlasting memory is to capture it. Nowadays, we take photos of everything. When it comes to birthday parties or weddings, a good photographer is absolutely needed. Right now, there has to be a San Francisco Wedding Photographer that is taking pictures of a couple in a cable car. It may seem banal but in a few weeks, the wedding......

Getting Eco and chic at HomeSense

Recently I was invited to have a little look around my local Homesense in Cardiff, I knew it was owned by TK Maxx and stocks some amazing interior goodies but until now had not had the time to pop in but one thing is for sure is that I will be back again very soon. I really didn't know what to expect in terms of shop layout, stock etc but the store is really clean and fresh with a clear layout, making it very easy to find what you need. I loved all the individual and unique items they had and I truly believe in a store like this you could pick up something you would be hard to find anywhere else. I love these retro chairs Another thing I was pleasantly surprised at was not only the designer pieces such as Dior and Ralph Lauren but also a lot of ethical and eco products, which is what I love in my home and stocked up on during this trip as Green products can be quite expensive but with up to 60% less than normal retail prices I made the most of it. How amazi......

Anisnap watch review and giveaway

Mr A is a little monkey, so it seemed only fitting when Anisnap watches asked if we would review a monkey watch for them. They are fun, innotive and simply snap onto the wrist, even Mr A who is not yet three enjoyed snapping the watch and got the concept almost instantly. It is a little big for his tiny wrist but in another few months it will be perfect and the way the snap strap has been designed means it can grow with your child which is great. The watch and strap are made with a very soft but robust rubber and don't have any sharp edges, even the crown of the watch is hidden so they are really child friendly. They are made by Eternally U which was established in 2011 and it's aims are to make bold and fun watches and these anisnap's for kids are exactly that. Mr A was really taken with the cartoon style monkey character and I think it's a fun way to introduce a first watch and the learning of telling the time. There are three designs - The Monkey, The Rabbi......

Fun on the farm and other adventures

So we had a really bumper week this week with regards to the weather, which in the South of Wales is prone to be wet and raining regardless of the time of the year. our main adventure this week was the Vintage Tractor Show at St Fagans which really was the highlight of the week as the little man is obsessed with Tractors and big machines at the moment. He literally couldn't contain his excitement, running for tractor to tractor asking what each one was called and examining it in detail. It was great to see so many types and there was an array of vintage machines and engines being run. We of course then had to find the "Tractor Train" that St Fagans runs on the weekend and which Mr A loves to go on, it's only 50p a stop and they don't charge for the little man so it's really worth it. Another great thing about St Fagans is that is also has a little farm house which houses some chikens, ducks, turkeys and depending on what time of the year pigle......

Elfin and Joules Love

This week Mr A was a very lucky boy to have been sent a beautiful Joules rugby jacket by the lovely people at Elfin Childrens Wear which stock the most beautiful baby and childrens clothes from brands such as Emile et Rose, No added sugar and Bob and Blossom to name a few. The store which is based up North near Middlesborough has been going since 2001 and provides a great online selection from newborn to 8 years old and what I like is they stock a really unique and eclectic mix of children's wear and gifts that have that real "special" quality to them. We think this rugby top is gorgeous and no we are not just saying that, as we always endeavour to provide honest reviews, but I myself have a few Joules items and I am not disappointed with there children's line at all, it's made with the same tailoring and practical style in mind but keeps the fun element with some really cool badges and pops of colour. Not only is this top really cute but it......

Ring that magazine

So just a quick happy little post to show off my quirky ring John picked up for me from Topshop. It's a triple ring with little hearts on it and being gold it adds that little bit of bling on my fingers. Although I have already been stopped twice and asked if it's a knuckle duster - which ofcourse it is not. Also the photoshoot I shot for buzz magazine is now out in various shops and bars in Cardiff so I was really happy when my copy came through the door - it's always such a great feeling to have work published :) Ohh my photography website is www.lcsphotographic.com...
