Boys club, new tattoo and Ben Sherman

Father and Son

Another lovely Boys Club post from John and Mr A, having fun and rocking some new tees. With the summer days slowly coming to an end, the two boys are making the most of the t-shirt and shorts weather, while John goes for a slightly preppy look with chino shorts, Mr A goes barefoot at every opportunity. They have been cramming as much outdoor fun in as possible and a few too many ice-creams, but than again it is summer.

The lovely people at Surfdome, an amazing online retailer that has a huge selection of different brands covering mens, women and children's clothing, as well as surf, skate and snowboard equipment, were kind enough to send both John and Mr A a t-shirt each to review. Mr A has been rocking his Esprit Dinosaur top which suits his personality to a tee at the moment as he stomps around exploring every nook and cranny while showing us his best attempt at a loud roar. I have had one or two Esprit items of my own in the past and have always been impressed with the quality to price ratio and have to say that applies to their children's clothing as well, which is beautifully soft and well made with a fun designs, great all round.

John was sent a Carhartt oxford t-shirt, which is simple but with the block colour pocket suits his look for clean lines with a bold edge to it. It could be worn out or like seen here in the park, having fun with the little man. Carhartt is a US based brand John use to wear a lot a few years ago and is coming back into it's own.

John also had a new tattoo down two weeks ago and is starting to look really good, very colourful and it's lighthouse design goes well with the Russian Doll on his other leg, it is as he says a work in process, but this is what it looks like so far...

John is also really loving the Plectrum collection from Ben Sherman, which collaborated with Rig Out Magazine ( a mens wear magazine John reads, highly recommended) for the shoot of their AW13 collection, here are his favourtie picks

Check out ther cool behind the scenes video from the AW shoot, some good beards going on there, coupled with well tailored clothing and shot in Brighton, the home of MOD clothing style, equals some very sharp men.

Surfdome provide both John and Mr A with t-shirts, although our review and opinions are 100% our own.

I have joined this post up with the Style Elixir, What I wore wednesday, Whatever Whenever Wednesday Link
