A day trip to Narberth

During our recent stay at Bluestone, which is located in a beautiful part of West Wales, we decided to jump in the car one morning and go exploring. We had been wanting to walk the village streets of Narberth for a while as both my mother and I had heard about good things about the this chic and stylish village with it's cute cafes, independent interior stores and friendly atmosphere and we were not disappointed. For such a small welsh village it has a lot going for it, with some lovely boutiques, a wine and cheese deli, art centre and quirky little shops we felt spoilt for choice. The parking was incredibly cheap at 70p for 5 hours, in Cardiff 70p wouldn't even get you 30 minutes parking. What was also amazing is that we picked up a piece of coffee and homemade cake for £2.50 each from a cafe that had been opened inside an old court house. Wahaca Cardiff - Spicy food stylish interior

We were over the moon to hear that the Mexican Street Style food chain Wahaca was coming to Cardiff - it's first restaurant outside of London. Located in St Davids Two, the first things you notice when walking in is the large open space, high ceiling and hanging lights, stylish seating area and welcoming atmosphere. When we got there the place really felt alive, with lots of happy customers, tables of friends and families enjoying what was on offer and lots of colour and intriguing smells, we couldn't wait to be seated and have a chance to look at their menu. To start we shared the Guacamole with baked Tortilla chips, which I highly recommend as it was creamy and smooth with a hint of chilli and the presentation was also very pleasing to the eye. When Wilf came to play

Our highlight of the last week has to be when the lovely Fritha from TigerLillyQuinn and her adorable son Wilf hopped on the train from Bristol and made there way to Cardiff, where we met up with them for a lovely day spent mainly in the part as well as a pit stop in the museum. Mr A met Wilf early in the year when we travelled together to London for an event and he was really excited to see him again. Even though there is more than a year age gap the two boys get on with each other so well and is really was so blissful to watch them play, laugh and enjoy each others company. Before lunch Mr A and I were keen to show Wilf one of our favourite spots - the Cardiff Museum, which has a small dinosaur exhibition, which I forgot how scary it could be for a two and half year old so we quickly moved onto the natural history section as well as a lovely little kids core room which provides the perfect chill out area. From France with love

Ever since I visited Paris with my family at the tender age of 9 I was smitten with the country, it's style, culture and food. My Father from whom I got the travel bug had been a few times before and couldn't wait to show us The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre and the Mona Lisa, Notre Dame as we walked along the River Seine. I remember so clearly one day we had been exploring the city and decided to pick up a bite to eat from a bakery in one of the less touristy areas of Paris, my father tried his best in bad french to order some baguettes but you know some of the Parisians can be a little bit off at times and he knew what my father was trying to say but was putting everything else but the baguettes on the counter, in the end it all made us laugh. Our summer festival wish list

I love nothing more than a good festival Wow where has this year gone? I cannot believe we are already into April and springtime, which only means one thing - camping and festival planning. We love nothing more than spending sometime under canvas as a family - the little man loves to camp, he has been asking all winter when we are going to go next and hopefully it won't be too long to wait. As long as you pick your festivals wisely taking children is not an issue at all and something we very much encourage. Have a Spring Staycation Without Breaking the Bank

We had a lot of beach fun last year When you think of spring holidays, do you get put off by the prospect of hours waiting at crowded airports, long lines at customs and immigration, and flight delays?
