I have always lived by the rule of purchasing things upfront but occasionally things crop up, life happens and staggering the cost of things over a few months is actually the least stressful option. When I was pregnant both times I went on a personal spending ban - meaning I didn't purchase anything for myself for about a year, instead putting aside what I had for the new arrival. This however did mean that once I was getting back into my pre-maternity wear that I was pretty low on seasonal clothes and replying on classics, which I made work for a while but everyone likes to look so souring th ebest discounts and coupons online is essential. It provides consumers with more flexibility and choice than retail outlets on the high street as well as being less stressful if you have a new baby at home to look after or simply very busy as everything is brought to you plus you can pay for your order in installments and choose from a wide range of products from the comfort of ......

Style Me Sunday - Babysitters club
So this week has seen more changes for our little family, especially my eldest as we welcomed a brand new cousin/nephew into the world, making me an Aunt for the first time as well as Mr A a potential babysitter in years to come. Mr A has also been heavily into "workmen" style play this week, helping out at my mothers house hammering nails and filling up gaps in floorboards and he favourite item of clothing is week has got to be his Dungarees which were actually handed down from a friend who picked them up from Next, we have paired them up with this new Clarks boots and T-shirt from Esprit. The nice people over at Promofix Gifts sent us some very cute badges and mugs which would make a perfect gift for anyone who is currently expecting either their own child or in our case a little nephew or cousin and Mr A was very proud to wear his Babysitter to Bee pin badge. Their Mummy to bee mugs are super cute and if your looking for something heart warming and uniq......

Street Style Sunday - New Shoes
So I recently treated myself to this colourful floral printed trainers from Boden, they are just a bit of fun and add a pop of colour to my wardrobe. They are actually from the teenage section of Boden but I thought why not, if you can't have fun with fashion then what can you have fun with, especially coming into the colder months it's nice to still keep a touch of summer in my outfits. I also managed to pick these up for a steal but using a VouchaCodes which meant I got money off and free delivery, serious win if you ask me. I have paired them up with my Fred Perry Pinafore and a tee from Next for a simply and practical look as this past week has been a really busy one. So far this Autumn has been mild so I have been making the most of still being able to wear dungarees and dresses on a daily basis before it simply becomes too cold and the tights have to come out. The one great thing about seasons changing is that it's the perfect time to re-evaluat......

Street Style Sunday - McArthurGlen
Laura wears Denim dress from Next, Clarks sandals, Firmoo sunglasses, Paul Costello bag So I was recently invited to go and explore my local designer outlet McArthurGlen in Bridgend to see what they had to offer, not only for me but the whole family. We have been before but not for a while and were excited to see the redeveloped play area as well as new stores. First stop though was to hire a car for Mr A, they are ingenious really as the centre quite big and I know without these push cars Mr A would get bore pretty quickly but they have planned the centre with kids in mind. We picked up a variety of things including this denim t-shirt dress from Next which is perfect for summer and have paired it up with some Clarks Original sandals, Firmoo sunglasses and a Paul Costello bag. At McArthurGlen I also picked up two vintage style tops from M&S and Fatface while Mr A loved the Vans store and Mountain Warehouse while John went for a little something from Timberland an......

Cheltenham Race Day looks
Ladies day vintage race style ( image ) It's that time of year again – the Cheltenham Festival 2015 is just two months away, with the festivities kicking off from 10th March. To me it's always the signal that spring is on it's way and my mind drifts to summer days drinking Pimm's with friends or picnics or days spent looking stylish at the races. Three days of fun, fizz and fluttering on our favourites will ensue, but for certain racegoers, there's only one day that will truly be the highlight of the festival – Ladies' Day. Taking place on Wednesday 11th March, the day will be a chance for ladies from all walks of life to show off their fashion flair. If you're lucky enough to be in attendance this year, make sure you're equipped with some of these key trends for spring/summer 2015. Yellow plunge style dress from ASOS £38 Yellow It was a hit in summer 2014, and it's made its way right back into our spring wardrobes, s......

Street Style Sunday - Boys at the Wedding
So two weeks ago we attended Johns brothers wedding - John was the best man and Mr A was the page boy. Even though John always wears a shirt and tie and occasionally a suit to work it's wonderfully refreshing seeing both of them all dressed up so smartly. John usually wears his Boss suit to such things but on this occasion the groom had picked these ones from Next and I have to say I am impressed with the quality of them, he paired this up with a Ralph Lauren shirt and Grenson brogues. With Mr A we picked up his outfit from Monsoon which has wonderful clothes for boys and girls attending such events. It was the first time Mr A every wore a tie and waist coat and I was hesitate as I thought he may want to pull it off all the time but actually he loved looking just like Daddy and wore his waistcoat to sleep and the whole of the next day. We even managed to get a rare picture of the both of us. You can see what I wore from my last weeks Street Style Sunday ......

Summer style and Park life
So we had lovely weather over the weekend and I finally got to wear shorts, comfortably for most of the day without freezing, such a nice change, now just need to work on a bit of a tan. I also got to wear my Boden breton tee I ordered a few weeks ago and I love, along with my new summer espadrilles and organic Nudie tote bag. Nudie - a Jeans and Denim company is becoming one of our favourite brands as it has such great ethics and all it's denim is organic, John has two pairs and they are great, check them out if you get the chance. So here is a run down of what I wore T-Shirt - Boden Shorts - Next Cotton Crochet Espadrilles - Ebay Bag - Nudie Organic Cotton Watch - Guess The little man also had his summer style going along with John, who both had a lot of fun exploring Heath Park in Cardiff, which is a lovely large park with lots going on. We loved walking through the forest and woodland area which comes out onto a natural pond with ducks and other wi......

Boys Club - The Working man
So as many of you know John is a traditional cut throat barber, working in Cardiff City at a great Gentleman's retreat that is Bentley and Co . His work is a good reflection of his personality as he takes care in his appearance and pride in what he does. His working week style fluctuates but he tends to not wear anything to expensive as he clothes can get covered in hair during the day and he likes to separate work from home. This however doesn't mean you can't look smart with his take on the modern working man. I feel really lucky to be able to go into his work and take photos as it really is a boys club, with all the barbers being male, a long established shop and the cliental ranging from businessmen to toddlers, there is a real camaraderie among each other and it's great to overhear what they talk about, *what you hear in the shop stays in the shop* So what he today - he went for a tweed style blazer jacket from Topman, as well as the trousers, also from......

Cardiff Blogger Meetup Style
So on the saturday just past was an amazing little meet up of fashion/beauty and lifestyle bloggers in Cardiff, I had met quite a few before but it's great talking to people you have never met and making new blogger friends. Everyone looked very stylish and this is what I wore to the meet... I went for a sort of high street style with a TopShop denim jacket, Next white tee, thrifted River Island skinny jeans, Collection by Debenhams Bag, Joe Browns ring and HM wedge shoes. I opted for wedges this time as at every other meet or event I am often the shortest so I just wanted to add a little bit of height and they are comfy so even though it was quite a long day I didn't have any problems being on my feet most of the time. The meet started at The Brewhouse - formally the Rock Hard Cafe and it was really nice to see new life coming into this great building. They had some great deals on cocktails - I went for the Cucumber crush - so yummy and they had the Lush Lad......
