Finding the perfect fit
The struggle for finding the perfect pair of jeans is real and something I have always encountered as being just under 5ft has meant standard jeans are always too long making it no easy task to find a pair that just fit's without having to alter them in some way. After asking my readers if they have ever faced a denim dilemma it was very clear that most women in some way also struggle to find the perfect fit, many with similar problems to mine in terms of length as the standard size is really not one size fit's all and is equally a problem for not only petite women but also taller ones. Some of the other common issue which were apparent is having a different size around the thighs and waist leaving gaps and ill fitted sections or skinny jeans becoming baggy in certain areas or simply not knowing how to pick the right style for the look you are trying to achieve or for your body shape. Marks and Spencer 's got in touch to see if I could find the perfect pair for......

Thank-you to an amazing Woman
With mothers day looming I have found myself reflecting on my own journey as a mother as well as that of being a daughter to an amazing woman and all the trials, tribulations and celebrations we have gone through over the past few years and how we have grown to be an even closer and stronger family unit. My mother has always been the emotional stronghold of the family, the one we could lean on and still do. She is also my constant source of inspiration especially when it comes to interiors and style, her motto of less is more and quality over quantity is something I always try to take on board, in fact she was actually the one who introduced me to Laura Ashely and Bodens many years back. The thing that always blows me away is her strength which was really pushed to the limit when my father passed away suddenly 10 years ago. I was coming to the end of my somewhat difficult teenage years and entering my twenties and feeling a little directionless, while my mother had com......

Pregnancy update, Nonabox and Project-B
Wow it's been so busy lately, in fact crazy busy would be the only way to describe it. I cannot believe I am 28 weeks pregnant today (Monday) eek into the third trimester I go. So I thought I would do a round up of what has been going on from 25-27 weeks. Well with lots events and trips to London keeping me on my feet I have started to feel a little bit of an energy dip mainly due to things becoming more uncomfortable at night and finding it harder to get a good nights sleep. For the first time I have been experiencing a bad back and rib pain something I didn't really have with Mr A but then again every pregnancy is different. What I have found though that eases it the most is keeping active, I discovered this after having a down week where I thought I would take things easy and it was actually a lot worst and I realised that Mr A and I love our outdoor walks every day or swimming and adventures close to home and further afield and it seems the best idea to just keep to......

Keeping fit with your kids
t is hard to get your children interested in sport if you do not involve yourself in it as well. If you leave the decision to your child they may never pick up a sporting interest and as such could miss out on the social element, that team sports provide, and of course the fitness element which is vital to your child’s lifestyle. You want to actively encourage your child to pick up a sporting interest not force it. Beautiful tennis rackets ( image ) Tennis is arguably the best sport to involve yourself and your child in. There are plenty of local coaches out there dying for increased membership and as a result they provide a fantastic service. With 584 calories burnt an hour from playing tennis both you and your children will have had a decent workout. If you and your child are both novices then tennis is a very good place to start, there shouldn’t be too many discrepancies between you and your child, meaning they could actually beat you and this friendly comp......

The cost of bringing up a child
It's a really scary concept when you put everything down on paper how much it costs to bring up a child but I honestly don't believe it has to be that expensive. LV recently complied some new statistics from the Centre of Economic and Business research that states the cost of bring up a child from birth to 21 has gone up in the past year and is now said to average £227,266 which is simply crazy but it's something that as parents we need to take into account. The report was broken down into various categories from childcare to food, clothing, holidays, hobbies, sports, pocket money, driving lessons etc and is quite comprehensive and even though most households are cutting back on a lot of things the cost of living is still rising and can be quite a scary prospect for new parents or people thinking about having there first child or like us our second. There is an amazing natural world out there to explore - for free! I do however feel that personally we don......

Family sports when travelling
I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser. #CollectiveBias Just because your on holiday in some exotic location or exploring a new city it does't mean you can't stay fit and healthy and indulge in some fun family sports and activities. We have spent the past few days in London and as soon as we arrived the first thing we did was head off to Hyde Park to have a run outside and get our limbs moving after a 2 hour train trip. After a very early start and lots planned it was great to get all the pent up energy out and also recharge ourselves with some snacks and the super nutritious Zico Coconut Water which is perfect for replacing potassium and magnesium and giving you a natural energy boost - something we all really needed. John and Mr A rehydrating with some Zico The little man is really into running races at the moment and c......
