Amie Natural Skincare Review

It's been a while since I have done a skincare review and as you may know I love anything that uses natural and plant based ingredients with good ethics and actually works, that may sound easy but it's pretty hard to find. Amie Skincare really has all of those things and I am so pleased to bring you this review as I feel I have found a product that personally I am going to carry on using in the future, especially the morning dew moisturiser.

So let me introduce Amie Skincare properly, it's beauty products are award winning and are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans and are of course against Animal testing. None of there products contain parabens, mineral-oils, petrochemicals, sodium laureth sulphate or GMO ingredients and uses organic ingredients were ever possible. I was kindly sent the Morning Clear Facial wash and Morning Dew moisturiser to review and here is what I thought....

What I want in a morning facial wash is something that leaves me feeling fresh and invigorated. The morning clear purifying facial wash has the texture of a lotion as appose to a foaming wash but it feels lovely massaging into the skin before rinsing off with warm water. My skin felt really sparkly clean after using this product which uses mayblossom and elderflower to purify and decongest and keep pores clear in a natural and relax sort of way, it felt good putting on and is not abrasive in anyway. The orange blossom and raspberry also help to tone and refresh and I really felt I am doing my skin a favour by using this product.

I have combination to oily skin so I don't like anything that has mineral oil in it and is preferably soap free, I need a moisturiser that is going to hydrate my skin without making it break-out and I can honestly say this is the first moisturiser I am completely happy with and I will be using this for a longtime to come - here are the reasons why - it's natural and plant based, with the use of rosehip and bilberry keeps my skin nourished but it leaves a really soft, dewy and shine-free skin, a perfect base for makeup and is great for people with sensitive skin. It really does what it says on the box, creating the perfect matte-finish.

All the products are really reasonably priced, which is surprising because they feel like that would be in the £20 range as they are so luxurious. You can find them online or in Waitrose or John Lewis.

Overall I am very happy with these products, they really work and prove that natural products can produce results and I feel my skin are far better for it. Highly recommended.

I was given these two products to review, no payment was made and my opinion is 100% honest and my own.

  2. It sounds Fabulous! I am a skin freak and would love to try it mainly because it is all natural and plant based. :-)
