Wonderful Wye

Beautiful breakfast setting
So this past weekend we finally had a break away - even though the weather was not great it could not damped our expierence. We rented an amazing converted chapel in the Wye Valley. All three of us went as well as my brother and our family dog Sam. Pentwyn Chapel is rated 5 star by visit Wales and was amazing! It really ticked all our boxes and had the most amazing dinning room with stained glass windows. The location was great as well, out in the country but only 10minutes from the market town of Monmouth. It was also only 200 yards from the Inn at Penallt where we had lunch on the 2nd day and provides fine dinning in the evening and the staff were so friendly and accommodating to little Mr A who was being a bit of a handful. While winding the evening aways in the beautiful Wye Valley, relaxing and enjoying each others company we also managed to tick of some more heritage sights on our list and visited Raglan and Tintern Abbey, which I will share with you another post. We didn't want to come home.....my heart is truly in the country.

    1. I think we found it through Hoseasons but you can rent it directly from the Owners - just type the name of the Chapel in google and it will come up :)
