Baby G in this Cuddledry As you know when it comes to your kids bath time there are so many products out there at the moment, literally hundreds and a fair amount of them your don't actually need and end up being wasted or left unused. We try and keep our lives as clutter free as possible and I thought it was a good time to share what we have found useful of late and products that have actually made our life a little easier. When it comes to Baby G's bath time we are only using two products at the moment, both natural based and organic - The Baby wash & Shampoo from Green People which is so very gentle, has no irritants and is perfect for those with sensitive skin and best of all a little goes a long way. We are also using Weleda Calendula Body Cream to help keep the little mans skin nice and moisturised. It goes on really well and doesn't feel oily, we will be sticking with both for a while. Cuddledry - I have to admit I was a bit scept......

Mothers Day Love
Just thought I would put a mini post together about our lovely day. Mothers day is one of my favourite of all the "special" days on the calendar as I think it's something we can all celebrate as with anything in life sometimes we forget to tell the people we love how special they are to us. I know I couldn't do a lot of the things I do without the support of my mother, something which is even stronger since my father passes away. Unfortunatly my mother has come down with a horrible cold so it was a very brief stop in to give her some flowers before we set off on our adventure across the boarder to England and one of my favourite cities - Bristol, for some fun in the sun (yes it was both sunny and warm!) at Bristol Zoo. 1. Couldn't resist wearing the same shoes as Mr A - Converse all the way 2. A quick little selfie with the little man before bedtime 3. Driving across the Severn Bridge into England 4. The two men mad me breakfast in bed and I go......

Ethical beauty products - what we are using
So we love to try new beauty products and it's important to us they are cruelty free, preferably naturally based and with a brand that has some ethical morals. This of course cannot always be the case but we truly believe your skin will be thankful for products that are soft and plant based. We have purchased all of these products ourself and it's what we are using at the moment and all feelings expressed are completely our own 1. Toms - Natural Deodorant - A crystal Zinc based deodorant made in Maine using sustainable practices and recycled packaging. It's strange looking at the back of a product and seeing very few ingredients - this is basically made up of naturally sourced Zinc and Potassium that helps fight odour causing bacteria. It's light, fragrance free and perfect for sensitive skin. It does take a few days to really start working and I find it's great for day to day use although if I know I am going somewhere hot, stuffy or an important social event ......

Keeping bath time fun
Any mother can give you stories on what they have to go through every day to keep their kids clean and getting a tip or two on how to keep bath time a happy time without the tantrums is a total relief. Little Mr A goes through fazes of loving a bath, or shower and then suddenly he doesn't want to get his hair wet and as soon as the first drop of water touches his head the screams are let out, which can make getting his blonde locks gleaming is quite hard, but with a few toys, songs and distraction tactics we usually get there in the end. Bath toy distractions It is however important to consider that besides making the bathroom environment a fun-filled place, safety should always be factored in so that your kids can be protected from the numerous things in the bathroom that can potentially cause injury or expose them to hazards like soap in their eyes, adult shampoos, razors etc. Keeping these things out of reach at all times can eliminate this problem and ma......
