Wow it's been a bit of a manic week after an exciting Fathers Day last weekend and getting ready for a little adventure in London this weekend, time has just flown by but I did manage to pop into town and visited on go my favourite shops - Tiger Store and came across these fun sunglasses and couldn't resist picking them up. If anyone is wondering what they say - beauty is in the eye of the beholder - which I think is so true and reminds me that you need to be yourself, love yourself and have fun when it comes to personal style. Also following on from trying to inject some more ethical style into my wardrobe I picked up this green organic vest from H&M conscious collection and paired it up with my M&S jacket and Karen Millen trousers and Superga shoes which are my go to trainers when running around the city or with my kids. I'm also really looking forward to seeing some friends, old and new at Britmums this weekend so do come and say hi if your there. ......

Hello Spring, Easter and Biscuiteers
I cannot put into words how happy we are that it is officially spring - I think we can safely say in our household we are not huge fans of winter in the UK, especially for myself being a Southern Hemisphere expat. Perhaps if it always snowed and we could go snowboarding every season like our European continent counterparts I would feel differently but alas that is not the case in wet and windy Wales, so the sunshine and warmer days are a very welcomed sight. What I love about when the seasons change is being able to bring back to life some long lost clothes such as this Levi's shirt which has been hibernating for a while. I have paired it up with some black jeans from TopShop, Supergra trainers, F&F sunglasses and a beautiful box of Biscuiteers Peter Rabbit handmade Easter Biscuits - this box is so beautiful if I could somehow make it into a clutch I would. Spring of course also means another fun celebration that is Easter and every year we indu......

Street Style - My PacaPod
Last week we packed our bags for a mini adventure and one night away with both of the kids in tow and what is always important with very short breaks like this is to keep packing to a minimum and preferably having everything you need in one bag. This however is not alway easy when you need to take into consideration all the things required for a baby when travelling such as nappies, wipes, creams, spare clothes etc so having a bag built for purpose is key and this mini-trip gave me the chance to put my PacaPod Prescott satchel to the test. First of all when looking for a changing bag I wanted something that was stylish, well designed and not too mumsy and that will fit into my busy life. I am glad to say this bag does just that and it's unisex as well with John using it on occasion. It has different compartments and a convenient cold bag compartment which is handy for keeping his snacks at the right temperature while on the road. We spent a few hours in Newbury befor......

Superga shoes for a super Dad
They say that the way to a mans heart is through there stomachs but not with John, oh no, in fact to be honest he has a much larger wardrobe than I do and more clothes to boot. After becoming a father I think everyones finances take a strain so when special days such as Fathers Day come around it's the perfect way to treat him to something new, such as some shoes, some when the lovely people at Jacamo asked me to pick something for John that I thought he would love I knew straight away these Superga shoes would be perfect. John wears Superga Shoes, H&M shorts, Bathing Ape t-shirt, Ebbets Field Flannel cap Fathers Day is one of those special days we love to celebrate in our house. Mr A and John have such a special bond and the little man loves to make his Dad a card and bring it to him first thing in the morning and I also think it's great way to let the men in your life know how special they are as they can sometimes be overlooked. They have such fun together ......

You and Me
On the weekend we visited the grandparents and Johns old stomping ground. The sun was out and since Mr A was at the park it gave us half an hour to have a walk around the town and enjoy each others company - it's strange walking around the place I was pregnant and our old house we welcomed Mr A too when he was a newborn. I know it's always brings back a lot of nostalgia for John especially since he grew up in this town. For me it was a part of the patchwork that makes up my life but I am happy we have moved on, closer to the city. John weras - Levi's Jumper, Gap Shirt, Edwin Jeans and Superga shoes It was lovely having the sun on our faces and actually being able to use sunglasses for the purpose they are made. It also gave John a chance to finally wear his new Superga shoes he picked up for a bargain at TKMaxx in Bath last month. I am very much into denim this winter/spring - there is something very comforting and about it and practical of course. I am so hap......

Summer style and Park life
So we had lovely weather over the weekend and I finally got to wear shorts, comfortably for most of the day without freezing, such a nice change, now just need to work on a bit of a tan. I also got to wear my Boden breton tee I ordered a few weeks ago and I love, along with my new summer espadrilles and organic Nudie tote bag. Nudie - a Jeans and Denim company is becoming one of our favourite brands as it has such great ethics and all it's denim is organic, John has two pairs and they are great, check them out if you get the chance. So here is a run down of what I wore T-Shirt - Boden Shorts - Next Cotton Crochet Espadrilles - Ebay Bag - Nudie Organic Cotton Watch - Guess The little man also had his summer style going along with John, who both had a lot of fun exploring Heath Park in Cardiff, which is a lovely large park with lots going on. We loved walking through the forest and woodland area which comes out onto a natural pond with ducks and other wi......
