Millennials, we cover a pretty wide age range, even though I have kids I still fit into the Millennial generation and while I cannot talk for everyone the way we navigate this digital world is far different to our parents era and therefore our needs are different. Many of us live life on the go, we live more for today and like to enjoy the things we can afford like brunch and coffee (as cliches as that is), as a generation many of us are also thinking more ethically, we want to support local business, be more sustainable and travel a little more. Also personally I find when it comes to gifts I want them to be meaningful or practical and here is a little gift guide for the digital millennial. 1. In a world where we are trying to cut out plastic as much as possible these two gifts are perfect for eating and drinking on the go as well as look stylish and dear I say Instagrammable. I am loving the stainless steel Black + Blum thermal food flask which keeps lunch both hot o......

Small Gifts for the Modern Millennial
It's official we have started the property search for what will hopefully be our long-term home and a place we can feel settled. What we are looking for in the next property we buy is potential, the potential to add value, space and to be able to make our own. The last two properties have both needed work so that is not an issue, as long as we can adjust the layout to suit our needs then it's worth all the hard work and sweat to make it something special. There are a few things on our checklist such as outdoor space, two receptions rooms and preferable a family room that can bring the outside in and a conservatory would be perfect for that. Conservatories can sometimes get a bad wrap, some people may perceive them as outdated or limited in it's use but this could not be more untrue, if done properly they can be really stylish spaces that add value to your property as well as creating a somewhere you want to spend time in all year round. Filling Space with Potted Flowers and More
I love this Geodesic style pot ( image ) After you get all of the furnishings in a room, you may notice that it does not quite look complete without accents like plants, flowers, or indoor trees. When you want to add this decorative touch to your home or workplace, however, you may lack the time to go out shopping at your local florists. Rather than go without such fixtures or substitute with fake potted plants, you may find what you need when you shop for decorative touches like indoor plants online. You can find arrangements for both your house and workplace your are decorating, regardless of the space you can find plants that will fit into corners, by windows, or near tables, letting you arrange the room to look hospitable and occupied. It maybe useful however to have dimension of the room to help you choose the right varieties, size, and shape, which will help you create a room that is interesting and full of character. I love this simple arrangement I came across at......
So in the past month we have done two short trips, each with a night away, one to London and one to Bath. Both times we have packed our overnight essentials, things that keep our skin hydrated and sooth the soul as travel can be quite stressful and I think that using plant and natural based products help your skin to replenish it's natural balance. Laura's picks When on the road you always need a good replenishing moisturiser and I love my Neal Yards rehydrating rose daily moisture which is perfect when your in the big smoke or at the seaside and your skin is drying out, using essential oils and certified organic ingredients it nurtures your ski, making it feel wonderfully soft. The next is my travel size Pink Grapefruit shower gel from The Body shop, it's zesty and peps you up in the morning ready for the day, it's also made in the UK and of course against animal testing. I cannot go anywhere without my little bottle of Rescue remedy, a great natural way t......
