Looking for the Perfect Valentines Gift

Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with a bunch of roses and chocolate - I mean I won't turn them down, but being a bit more creative or tailoring the gift more to the interest of your partner rather than just picking a generic option can go a long way in my books. I love the graphic below and I totally agree, especially when your a mother that time of from chores and a child free evening is one of the best gifts you can give, time to actually put your feet up, read a book and relax in a warm bath sounds like total bliss. A new tiger in town

Loving the moustache comb  I always get excited when new quirky store comes to Cardiff, especially when it's one that originates from Copenhagen bringing all it's Scandinavian style with it but not a big price tag - I mean total win win so when the new Tiger Store opened up I couldn't wait to go and have a look for myself. Especially since I am always eyeing up things for the new house and with nothing exceeding £30 this is my kind of place. New Tiger store open in St Davids, Cardiff It's also a great shop for finding little gifts for people and it added a little extra spark to our Christmas stockings as there is lots to be found for a few pounds, including some cool moustache boxers and comb and a wooden stacking toy for the little man and a pretty beaded collar necklace for myself and some silver nail polish. Kamigata Express and Pamper

Wow last week I was really made to feel pampered, and it came just at the right time with all the house moving stress in my life. I was lucky enough to try out the new Kamigata Express Service and for those who don't know who or what Kamigata is, it's a swish newish hair, beauty and spa hotspot right in the centre of Cardiff, found in St Davids 2. So what is the express service? It's amazing for one thing, but to be exact it's perfect for those who are short for time but want to be made up before going out or to an event or if you just feel like treating yourself and it includes a lovely Aveda mini-facial, manicure and a blow-dry from one of their professional stylists. So here is how my personal experience went, first of all on arrival the staff were very friendly, welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. Quick Nails

I just realised I have not done a nail polish post in a while, this may be because I am a very busy and active person with an equally busy and active toddler and often nail polish lasts a day and then is chipped due to my lifestyle, which leaves me a little uninspired to do a post about it, thats not to say I don't to honest posts when it goes wrong because I do, but I felt I had to share this little red number with you, as I was so pleasently suprised and here is why.... Well first of all I was given this Gold by Giles nail polish in a goodie bag from the bloggers ladies night a while back, and was not asked to review it. I usually don't have much hope in cheap nail polishes holding there own against the outdoors and active toddler play but this at £2.99 surpassed my expectations. It has a great colour, lovely and strong red and was long lasting and it took a few days before  I chipped it - this usually happens within a day of application. It's well worth the money an......
