Looking sharp doesn’t always have to come with a big price tag. Sometimes, it’s the small things—like the little adjustments—that make all the difference. You might already have everything you need hanging in your closet. It’s just about knowing how to wear it right. And the best part? You don’t have to chase every new trend or spend hours shopping. With a few simple changes, you can turn even the most basic outfit into something that feels classy and pulled together. Keep It Simple and Classic If there’s one thing that never fails, it’s keeping things simple. Clean, basic styles have a way of looking expensive without even trying. Think about those timeless staples: a plain white tee that fits just right, dark jeans without too much distressing, or a black dress that works for almost any occasion. These pieces do a lot of heavy lifting when it comes to style. Stick to colours like black, beige, navy, and white. They always look neat and are super easy to mix and match. Loud patterns a......

What fashion catalogues cater for all ages
Rocking the Monochrome look with some boots from H&M I have talked before about how to stay stylish after having kids and how useful things like online shopping as well as picking up a few key pieces from catalogues can be - it really does help you stay on top of key pieces and essentials. You can pretty much find everything from children's clothing to gifts for your grandparents, you'll find everything you're looking for in UK catalogues. Ever wondered what catalogues cater for all ages? Here are two that you need to check out. 1. H&M A amount of people probably don't know that H&M actually do a catalogue - to receive it you need to be signed up online and it's really worth doing as they send out some amazing deals through the post. It's also really easy to order and they have pretty much their whole collection available, plus easy ways to pay and spread the payment. 2. Freemans Even though I have yet to shop from Freemans, I d......

Street Style Sunday - Denim & white
Well spring has truly arrived which means the thick winter coats are out and thinner summer ones are in which means I have had the chance to wear this thin spring parka I picked up last year from H&M as well as this loose monochrome Blooming Marvellous shirt which is perfect for feeding and post-pregnancy style as it's tailored in just the right places. I am also happy that I am now back into my normal jeans, especially these very well worn and naturally torn jeans from Next paired up with an Asos braided belt, Ralph Lauren shoes and silver bracelet from East. Blooming Marvellous shirt, H&M Parka, Asos belt, Nxt jeans, Ralph Lauren shoes, East bracelet Hope you can come and join in with this Street Style Sunday - anything fashion related goes from outfit posts to inspirational mood boards An InLinkz Link-up ...

Street Style Sunday - Spring Throwback
Casual style in the spring sun It's that time of the week again - Street Style Sunday - I was really excited about this week as I have a lovely new outfit that I am eager to share with you all but the last two days have been spent under the covers as I have a cold and believe me I don't like good at all at the moment, in fact I look pretty awful, so I thought I would have a little throwback to what we were wearing this time last year. Going Monochrome with a Vero Moda shirt, Max Studio trousers, HM shoes, Paul Costello bag Spring is a bit of strange but exciting time of the year, one day you could wearing a big coat while the cold wind whistles through the air and then next day you could be in light shirt enjoying those first blissful moments of warmth from the spring sunshine. Joules dress perfect for spring paired with a Radley bag I also cannot believe how much Mr A has grown, he looks so young in these photos from spring last year and it just seems ......
As my pregnancy has gone on it's been harder to find clothes and feel as comfortable but still stay to my own personal style as Cardiff does not have the biggest selection with regards to maternity so picking something up on a whim has not really happened, so when Mothercare asked me to try out a few things from their online selection I was over the moon. For some reason I have struggled more this time round - I think perhaps because Mr A was due at the end of summer which meant I could wear a lot of flowing dresses and loose tees but coming to the end of my pregnancy during winter has been a different journey altogether, although the one plus has been all the chunky knits but it was nice to be back in a pair of skinny style jeggings which are super soft and comfortable to wear and paired with the monochrome blouse it made me feel bit more like me again. Laura wears - Mothercare jeggings and blouse, Esska shoes, M&S jacket, Paul Costello bag I really hope you c......

Cheltenham Race Day looks
Ladies day vintage race style ( image ) It's that time of year again – the Cheltenham Festival 2015 is just two months away, with the festivities kicking off from 10th March. To me it's always the signal that spring is on it's way and my mind drifts to summer days drinking Pimm's with friends or picnics or days spent looking stylish at the races. Three days of fun, fizz and fluttering on our favourites will ensue, but for certain racegoers, there's only one day that will truly be the highlight of the festival – Ladies' Day. Taking place on Wednesday 11th March, the day will be a chance for ladies from all walks of life to show off their fashion flair. If you're lucky enough to be in attendance this year, make sure you're equipped with some of these key trends for spring/summer 2015. Yellow plunge style dress from ASOS £38 Yellow It was a hit in summer 2014, and it's made its way right back into our spring wardrobes, s......

Street Style Sunday - A Wedding Outfit
Vintage Jacket, New Look tee, Max Studio trouser, Esska Shoes, Ralph Lauren Bag, Boden Necklace So last weekend we attended a wedding, in fact Johns brothers wedding. As you can see my bump has grown somewhat and I struggled to find anything dress wise that didn't make me feel frumpy so I decide to wear what I felt comfortable in but was still fairly chic. I picked up this black Velvet jacket in a charity shop years ago and I love it and paired it up with my Max Studio black trousers and New Look maternity tee, as well as my gold Esska shoes and Ralph Lauren bag and beautiful Boden necklace. The weather was perfect, especially since Wales can be so hit and miss which meant I even had to pack my sunglasses! I went for fairly simple makeup using some new No.7 products which I cannot wait to share with you - in love with their Lip Crayon and overall had a really enjoyable day. The little man was a page boy and I cannot wait share what he wore later this week in the ......
Laura wears - HM tee, Max studio trousers, Esska shoes, Ralph Lauren bag It was love at first sight when I saw this French Bulldog Miss Frenchie tee in H&M while actually shopping for maternity clothes, this is not a maternity top but the slouch fit is perfect for my widening waist. I find that I am wearing quite a lot of monochrome at the moment, something I have always been a fan of but even more so in my early pregnancy as from the outside it's not fully clear I am pregnant and black and white adds simple tailoring and is helping me adjust slowly to my changing figure. I paired it up with my new Ralph Lauren bag that I treated myself too for my 30th. I am also wearing a pair of super comfortable Esska shoes - these have been like a revelation to me, as the ethos of the brand is to create stylish shoes for confident women who also care about comfort and as I am on my feet most of the day plus with being pregnant these have been my go to shoes of late. I also lo......

18 Weeks Pregnant and Nursery inspiration
Mama style - Dress M&S, Jacket Topshop, Shoes Converse, Necklace Tigerlilly Quinn shop Once again time is really flying by - we l left to go on our holiday I was 16 weeks pregnant and now I have returned at 18 weeks and cannot believe I will soon be at the half way mark. My energy levels have started to pick up and I have started to feel little flutters and movements. The bump has really arrived now although I am still making do with the clothes I have for now such as this soft jersey knit dress I was given for Christmas last year. Lately I have also been opting to relaxed and casual trainers as being on your feet with a 4yr old and pregnant can be hard work. I have started to get a little bit of the nesting feeling creeping in and have started to do mini spring cleans around the house. At some point we are going to have to think about the nursery, which at the moment is our very cluttered box room/office space in the eves. We are going to keep things fairly simple......
