Travel Inspiration - St Lucia, vacation of choice for NY Model blogger set

I recently found out that Alexandra Spencer, the NY-based model, blogger and style icon, stayed at the same luxury residences in St. Lucia, a destination we are considering for a long overdue holiday next year. In fact she stayed there as recently as May this year with Vampire Diaries actress Phoebe Tonkins and ex-Vogue stylist Ilona Hamer! Personally this made me very interested in what she did whilst she was there as it seems strange to picture ourselves in the same surroundings, as it seems forever since we have had a proper inspirational beach holiday (Europe we love your but we desire something exotic at the moment) Have you ever been to heaven? Chateau De Sable Review

So the wonderful people over at Chateau De Sable were kind enough to send over a lovely french inspired white shirt for little Mr A from their Boy's range that goes from newborn to 12 years. Sporting Chic

So with winter on the way, I know, like most I tend to eat a little bit more and become a little less active as the cold takes over and going outside or making it too the gym when it's dark loses it's appeal. However I am determined to keep to my healthy lifestyle, as there is no better feeling than the reward of  clothes fitting perfectly, feeling fit and having the energy to keep going around the clock. Growing up in South Africa, this time of the year we would be going into our summer and enjoying lots of street and beach parties and I try to keep that summer feeling in heart going even when it's snowing. Guess Watches Spring/Summer love

Retro...fresh....eye-catching are all words that describe the new spring/summer Guess watch collection. The campaign was shot at a motel in LA and has a real vintage feel to it married with the modern and pop colour watches. Paul Marciano, the creative director of Guess described this best - "The spring 2012 campaign reminds every Guess Girl and Guy of what it means to represent the beauty of the past in a way that glorifies the present. I'm really impressed with there fearless approach to things and Guess has always been a brand not afraid to try new things with these bold new colours. Favourite photoshoots of 2011

 So in 2011 I graduated from my photography degree and really started pushing for freelance work as well as setting up my own mini studio, so it was quite a year.
