Glasses are a reality for three in five of us , myself being a glasses wearer. Sometimes it can be down to genetics but environmental factors can also play a role. Naturally ageing can also worsen eyesight for the vast majority of us, and prescription glasses are the most affordable option to go with but are your glasses getting in the way of your style? Personally, I love my glasses however, one of my kids who wears glasses would prefer to seek other options and it's made me think, do you love yours or would you prefer to ditch them? My mother who has a far stronger perception than I do has been wearing contact lenses for years and couldn't wait to swap her glasses for them, me on the other end I feel my glasses add to my overall style and I feel that having options means you don’t need to get rid of glasses altogether, but instead folded contact lenses into your vision-corrective rotation? Fashion and frames I can understand why some people would prefer to have contacts over......

Our home should be a place where we feel relaxed and can find that much-needed downtime, while this can take a while to achieve, especially as most are busier than ever, working to transform your living space into a personalized sanctuary. Creating a unique ambience of a room that reflects your personality, and creating a place where you actually want to spend time is key. Room aesthetics, comprising design elements, colour schemes, furniture choices, and decor, weave together to form a narrative unique to each individual. Matching style preferences in a space isn't just about visual appeal, it's also about creating a harmonious environment that resonates with one's essence. Let's delve into the art of room aesthetics and the significance of aligning them with personal style preferences. Street Style Sunday - Family Style
John rocking a pair of Archibald optics frames John has also been on the hunt for some new frames for his glasses and his usual go-to frames are Ray bans but this time he wanted to support something a little bit more unique and hopefully homegrown and in his search came across Archibald Optics who are based in London and allow you to do a "try at home" box of your three favourite frames - I think this is a great idea as it's really hard to tell what they are really going to look like from a picture online. The "try on at home" pack He is leaning towards a more rounded frame and these ones in particular are his favourite - what do you think? Mr A has also been looking stylish this week in his new COS striped swim shorts, I have only recently found out about this timeless and effortlessly chic Swedish company which makes Mens, Womens and Kids clothes and will be going into further depth about them in a post later this week, but ......

Celebrating family in the home
I love an array of different sized frames to display family portraits ( image ) Capturing the special moments in life and the people you love has always ranked highly on my favourite past times, time flies so quickly especially when you have children and if you blink they look older than they did the day before so collecting a few beautiful portraits and moments is an important way to document your life together. What a lot of people forget is how lovely these images can be hung up in the home and while we are still working on our house by simply framing and hanging our favourite moments can transform a once boring room into something special and really makes a house a home. Its important to get a good balance of simplicity and not been over cluttered as above ( image ) A few years back I had a home studio and got a few lovely images of John and Mr A which we have turned into a canvas but if you don't have access to a professional camera or lighting it may be ......

Wall and Decor - Interior Inspiration
Thought I would bring another interior instalment as we make me dreams and plans to our new home (when we finally move). This week we have been thinking about walls and how to make the walls that surround you, individual, unique and interesting and they should not be something you looked over. Bring a hint of aesthetic beauty to walls in a home or office with classic and modern uniqueness. By decorating bare regions with stunning mirrors, shelves, pictures, or other specialty wall hangings, a fresh new look will be achieved. Check out some of the ideas for creating different moods and scenes with today's selections. Mirrors and Space Be gone with a plain mirror, sandwiched between two level sconces. Instead, make a journey of space and movement with mirrors of different shapes and sizes. Mirrors are great for bringing focus and light to a room, picking up light from all angles. Get really creative and chose a clock embedded in a mirror and accented with bursts......
