Shades of Autumn
This weekend we spent the one dry day outside at St Fagans outdoor museum near Cardiff, which Mr A loves. It was really busy as Scouts from around Wales had converged on the outdoor museum for a camping weekend and while we where there Bear Grylls flew in on a helicopter and landed in a cows field - for real! It was really quite chilly and Mr A had the chance to wear his new Boden's jacket we got for him for his birthday, and it was actually really nice to dress all warm and snug, even though most of the layers came off after running around. It was beautiful to see the leaves change colour. So I think we can officially say goodbye to summer and hello Autumn and all the lovely shades that go with this season, beautiful browns and greens, big knits and warm accessories like gloves and scarfs. I always think of Paris and how stylish the men and women are and the well fitted Mac's and boots and berets. When the days become colder, nights darker and shorter I think somet......

Instgram Barber boys and Canvas love
So it's been a while since I have done an instagram post, and feel it's time to share from recent outings with all you lovely blog readers. I also realised that I have never really shared where John works and thought it would be nice to show him in his traditional barber glory. John giving a cut throat shave John and Ieuan, the barber boys, John cutting Ieuan's hair and the out come Shoe and sock love The perfect combination The sun always seems to shine on the other side of the Severn Bridge, on my way to Stroud Arthur enjoying Parc - in Cardiff We were asked by Bags of Love to do a review of their Canvas prints which we said yes too as we were planning to have a print done for Arthurs second birthday. Also having a degree in Photography I feel I can give a well educated review of the product. The first thing that I was very pleased with was that the wood used to stretch the canvas is FSC approved which means it comes from responsibly ma......

Sporting Chic
So with winter on the way, I know, like most I tend to eat a little bit more and become a little less active as the cold takes over and going outside or making it too the gym when it's dark loses it's appeal. However I am determined to keep to my healthy lifestyle, as there is no better feeling than the reward of clothes fitting perfectly, feeling fit and having the energy to keep going around the clock. Growing up in South Africa, this time of the year we would be going into our summer and enjoying lots of street and beach parties and I try to keep that summer feeling in heart going even when it's snowing. There is plenty of inspiration around especially with the Olympics earlier this year and sport stars being such great role models for healthy living and shows like strictly come dancing where we see people shrink in front of our eyes. A great example of someone who has totally changed there fashion sense and grown into such a chic individual due to an active lifestyle i......
