We live in such a wonderful and diverse world, with so many cultures, languages, experiences and stories, these things should be shared, encourage and celebrated. Encouraging diversity and equality in our homes should be a priority, I know it is for me and for my son's, as I would like to see them grow up in a better more inclusive world and that extended to as much of our life as possible, including the gifts we give over the festive period. Cardiff goes Pop with Bricks at Home and Ushi's

I love pop-up shops and I love that Cardiff is finally embracing them so much. It means that smaller independent stores that are usually only found online or outside the city centre get a chance to be more accessible to a larger audience for a short period of time as well as adding something new to the more established shops in the city centre.  Recently St Davids Cardiff got in touch to let me know about two Pop Up Shops currently making themselves at home in the centre and I made sure to check them out. The first shop I stopped off at was Bricks At Home - a art and interior design concept store based on Pop Art and Lego. I loved it! Embracing winter outdoors, getting creative indoors

I thought I would write a little post about what we have been getting up to outdoors of late as well as our favourite things to keep us entertained indoors when the rain hits. We made the most of the mild autumn, seeing the leaves change in dramatic fashion and spent every dry day running around outside, unfortunately the start of winter saw us all come down coughs and colds and in Baby G's case teething coupled with Bronchitis. Luckily and fingers crossed we have got most of that out of the way and have started going on some mini adventures and enjoying the wonderful festive season and our "activity" advent has been going very well so far.
