There are few cities in the world that can match Los Angeles' entertainment options. No matter where your interests lie, the City of Angels can satisfy them. In a city with limitless possibilities, the following are the seven coolest things about LA. 1. Rooftop Bars Many hotels in Los Angeles have rooftop bars that feature pools, music and great people watching. There are few things more Hollywood than enjoying a poolside cocktail while overlooking the city at The Standard Downtown LA or Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood. You might even spot a celebrity! 2. Great Sports If you love sports, you'll enjoy Los Angeles. Basketball fans flock downtown to watch the Lakers and Clippers while baseball fans love seeing the Dodgers and Angels. The temperate climate hasn't tempered the excitement of local hockey fans either; fans of the sport can enjoy the LA Kings and the Anaheim Ducks. If your feeling particularly lucky you could even put a bet down on your favourite ......

Bringing Card design into the home
Like most people I appreciate beautiful design, art and anything creative and I don't know about you but when it comes to certain occasions when you require a card it can be hard to find something a little different and unique. So when I was asked to try out CardNest - a card subscription which curates a collection of 3 cards each month, sent to your home so you are never short of card for a variety of uses, I was really intrigued and didn't really know what to expect, but I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised and have really enjoyed using the artist designed cards for various occasions. There is something really pleasing abut bringing beautiful design into the home and I am tempted to frame some of the cards as they are so cute and quirky and printed on high quality paper stock and would look lovely stuck up with some washi tape in a studio or office space. Best of all is I have a special code for Side Street Style readers to get 50% off their first ba......

Cos clothing for kids on the move
Mr A rocking a Cos t-shirt When it comes to boys clothing it can be quite hard to find something fun, well made and practical but as always if there was anyone to get this combination right it would be the Swedish who have produce some great products for the whole family in the form of Cos Clothing and I have to say I am a real fan. I love the simplicity with interesting touches, it's modern, clean and great for easy carefree style, so I was over the moon when they sent a few bits and bobs for Mr A to try out. Of course he was up to his old sneaky tricks and not staying still for a moment, which to be honest is what a 3yr old should be doing. He really put the clothes to the test and I have to say it's thumbs up all round. I really love this Cos knitted hoodie Stripes never go out of fashion I love these swimming shorts We are a huge fan of stripes in this household - it's a bit like denim, I don't think it will ever go out of fashi......

Let in the light
My cute little owl lamp So as many of you may already know we only moved into our new house in December and with an active toddler running around that has meant our unpacking and organising has been slower than usual. There are pockets of the house we are making some progress with and even though John has been ill for the past few days he mustered up enough energy to final put our large mirror up in the lounge. We still need to add a lot more homely touches but it's nice to finally see some small part start to come together. The painted sideboard will in a few days I am sure be covered in various books and whatnot but for a moment it's tidy, along with my new lovely little owl lamp from The Range , which is too cute With so much painting and redecorating, gardening to do on top of a hectic work schedule this little accomplishment seemed like a lot this weekend. We also picked up a beautiful lampshade for Mr A's room as well as some solar dragonfly lights f......

Most Stylish mini backpacks of 2014
Me rocking my Kanken bag It seems like just yesterday when backpacks were considered tragically uncool for anyone too old to be part of the grade school crowd. These days, however, things have changed, and the backpack has made a huge comeback. Those who prefer not to lug around huge rucksacks will be pleased to know that in line with one of the hottest new trends of 2014, there’s a whole range of stylish mini backpacks on the market this season that are not only perfect for adults but also for trendy little mini-mes. Mr A rocking his little monkey bag Here are our top picks Shinola Mini Backpack The leather backpack is given an update with Shinola’s mini backpack made of artisanal leather. The clean lines and lovingly hand-stitched seams show incredible attention to detail, and the structured rectangular shape is hip in a minimalist way. Fjällräven Kanken Mini This pint-sized spin on Fjällräven’s iconic Kanken, which has bec......

What Mr A Wore - Grubbies Review
I don't think there is anything better than a boy (or girl) in dungarees, they are a classic that encompasses practicality, durability and style all on one, it just seems right and is perfect for active children. We were lucky enough for Grubbies to send us a pair to review and the little man loves them, he feels like a real workman in these and had a lot of fun on his mini excavator as well as pretending to be a mechanic fixing it. We have had a few pairs of dungarees in the past but I have to say we are really impressed with the quality of these Grubbies ones that are produced in the UK - we love to support local so this is an added bonus. The denim is very soft and not too heave and I love the two tone effect on the pockets as well as the cool retro detailing and colourful pipping which has a hint go nostalgia to it. The shoulder straps are adjustable and this pair should last him for a longtime which is something we look for in children's clothing. ......

LiveForNow - how does he do it?
I seriously don't know how Dynamo does it, I am blown away but his street magic every time I see him and I cannot wait for his new show to hit our screens. I know everything he does is illusions but I love to believe he is special in someway and some of what he does is actually magic, I mean there is no harm in believing in the impossible, that is of course what all great entrepreneurs did. This #LiveForNow Pepsi advert is amazing - you need to check it out - he literally hovers next to a London bus in the middle of the city. ...
