Slowing down at Fforest, West Wales

Fforest Farm , near Cardigan in West Wales, has become well known among those who seek a place to slow down and step away from the modern world for a few days and reconnecting with nature without any compromise on comfort and luxury, so of course, I was interested to see what it was all about. Summertime here is pricey (and busy) so I would recommend going at an off-peak time like we did, it's quieter and prices drop somewhat making spring and autumn a great time to get away. Fforest has an array of accommodation options from their chic Geodestic domes with log burners and Kata Cabins, all located in stunning meadows or forest settings. You can also go for the Garden or Hill Shacs or the Crog Lofts.  We booked 2 nights in the Crog Loft which is perfect for a family with young kids as it has a double bed on the mezzanine and bunk beds downstairs and is also dog friendly. Street Style Sunday - Maternity Casual

I have to admit this week has been a bit of a difficult one for me, my bump has suddenly had a growth spurt leaving me with very few clothes that fit well. I had a rare free day to roam the shops to look for something to wear and discovered Cardiff offers very little in terms of maternity wear choice and it's going to have to be an online shopping experience I am afraid. The only thing I managed to find was a pair of maternity jeans so at least that was something but at a time when so much is changing I think it's important to feel good with how you look and not being able to find something to accommodate my changing shape left me feeling a bit down. Luckily I came across this stretchy grey maternity top from my last pregnancy and pairs it up with some leggings and my aztec cardigan and converse and it made me feel more like myself, casual and fun and a spot of lipstick to put the world to rights. Road Trip Style

When I think of summer I think of road trips, I mean what could be better than jumping into a car and driving into the unknown, meeting new people seeing new places and enjoying the outdoors and life on the road. Both John and I dream of a big American and Canadian road trip - like a lot of people, it would truly be inspiring and the Round the World experts have some really inspiring trips, following on from that inspiration I thought I would put together a little summer road trip outfit, full of comfortable favourites and my short and tee have actually seen a few road trips of there own already. Cashmere for Kids

I am totally in love with Cashmirino - the worlds first Cashmere brand for children! With styles straight out of Milan I don't think I am the only one who thinks this is a good idea, why not wrap your children up in one of the finest natural fibres out there. I would love to have a few items for Arthur as they are such wonderful, stylish and fun designs that are really tailored towards children and allow children to have the movement they need so they can still run around and play. The brand caters from babies 0months up to 14yrs old and the garments are not cheap and are probably not something you would be able to buy everyday but if your looking for a touch of luxury under the Christmas tree for your little one, this would be a very stylish choice.
