Street Style Sunday - Boys Club

John in Edwin Jeans, Eastland shoes and Universal works socks This weeks Street Style Sunday is all about what John has been wearing of late and some things he picked up over the Christmas period. One of his bigger purchases was a pair of Eastland Oxford shoes and Universal works socks which pair up really well with these tapered Edwin jeans from Woodhouse Clothing . John has a few pairs of Edwin jeans, it's one of his go to Denim brands as the fit, taper and quality never fail and Woodhouse has a great selection as well as a few other top menswear brands including Barbour, Nudie jeans, Penfield and Woolrich to name a few. John wears Ralph Lauren Jacket, Carhartt jumper, Edwin Jeans, Eastland shoes There are a few things with investing in and one of those is a good pair of jeans. The Boys and Girls Club

So this week both John and I are doing outfit posts together - we usually do a Boys Club post once a week with all of Johns inspirations from the week but we decide to switch things up a bit. I picked up this lovely printed top in the Boden sale recently and it's really light and loose and perfect for summer. I finally got some new skinny jeans and I am loving the fit from my new Diesel Skinzee. Also rocking my thrifted and girted jacket and recycled Juju shoes, plus a little bag I have had for years. Denim days

So John has booked off two weeks from work so we can sort out the house and just have some quality family time as he has been so busy lately. We made the most of this rare dry day and spent most of our time walking around Cardiff and popping into GBK for a quick bite to eat. It became an unintentional denim day with all of us opting for jeans and I felt like rocking the Cazal glasses...just to add an extra dimension to the outfit. Lounge with Junior and outfit post

So we often try and go to new places on the weekend and explore Cardiff - even though it's a small city there is always somewhere new popping up that we haven't tried yet. Unfortunately this does not always go hand in hand with our attempt to eat healthy, as our first stop was Cafe Junior - a fairtrade, organic coffee housed in a beautiful church and provides a haven for families as it has a massive play area for young kids with tons of wooden toys. The staff where really helpful and friendly and I loved my chilli chicken salad while John had an italian burger, with a raspberry and white chocolate muffin as a little treat. Arthur also look very stylish with his Gap jeans and hand knitted cardigan. After Cafe Junior we walked to Buffalo lounge - it use to be a cool cafe bar called Mr Smiths - but what is has been replaced with is equally as cool - really quirky interior which I love!!
