Street Style Sunday - Boys at the Wedding

So two weeks ago we attended Johns brothers wedding - John was the best man and Mr A was the page boy. Even though John always wears a shirt and tie and occasionally a suit to work it's wonderfully refreshing seeing both of them all dressed up so smartly. John usually wears his Boss suit to such things but on this occasion the groom had picked these ones from Next and I have to say I am impressed with the quality of them, he paired this up with a Ralph Lauren shirt and Grenson brogues. With Mr A we picked up his outfit from Monsoon which has wonderful clothes for boys and girls attending such events. It was the first time Mr A every wore a tie and waist coat and I was hesitate as I thought he may want to pull it off all the time but actually he loved looking just like Daddy and wore his waistcoat to sleep and the whole of the next day. We even managed to get a rare picture of the both of us. You can see what I wore from my last weeks Street Style Sunday ......

Bristol Fashion Week is coming

So I can't wait for the Live Blogging event this friday at Bristol Fashion Week! There is going to be so much to see and do including the catwalk show presented by fashion stylist Mark Heyes and celebrity hairstylist Andrew Barton, which will be showing all the essentials for the season ahead and with so many brands and designers being apart of BFW including Coast, Dune, French Connection, Cecil Gee, Jigsaw, Monsoon, John Lewis and Radley to name a few it's surely going to be a great event. Also I love Bristol, the street style in the city is always amazing and I am constantly inspired when I am there. Besides the catwalk show there is also the pamper zone (which I will be visiting for sure!), a relaxing place were you can have mini manicures, make-overs and indian head massages. You can follow all the action from the live blog event by going to Mall Cribbs  and signing up for a reminder or I will be tweeting all day @laurasidestreet ...

Summer needs and the little things

So I am loving the summer collection of Monsoon and Accessorize ....so many things I want. I am really hoping for at least some beach weather this year, I know people keep saying the UK deserve a good year - but they really do. I am really into free-flowing clothes at the moment, with a touch of Moroccan/hippy feel to it. I think it's also time to get a little jumpsuit (as seen below). I have also been looking for a little satchel bag for ages, I would prefer to find a vintage 2nd hand one, but I am pretty impressed with this little one from Accessorize and what’s even better is it's only £37. Also you cannot go through this season without a little wedge shoe, and this one just makes me feel at little Rockabilly, which I love :) Another absolute need, since moving into my new home, is a sowing machine, and I came across this little cute thing on urban outfitters - it's mini and portable and is said to be suitable for all those little DIY projects such as skirt hems and......
