John's Tattoo
So after a longtime of throwing back and forth ideas and contemplating what to get, John finally had some free time and booked in for a Tattoo. He wanted something with an old school almost vintage style look and decided to go with a Russian Doll on this right calf muscle. I personally love the final result and cannot wait till he get's the other side done. While John got his Tattoo Arthur and I a coffee and babycino. Thanks for reading Side Street Style :)...

The playful outfit
So there has been a reason for the lack over posts over the past week - mainly do to the fact the UK had a mini sort of heat wave - and when it is sunny in the UK you really have to make the most of it. Also last thursday I was invited to the Boux Avenue store opening in Bath, and very excited we headed off to the amazing historical city that is Bath for a fun filled morning of lingerie, but on the way we got stuck in two sets of road works, stand still traffic getting into the city and my SAT NAV directing me to the wrong side of Bath...all in all despite leaving with more than enough time I missed the opening - could not believe it! Still had a great day in Bath though - but this sort of ruined what was going to be two large fashion/lingerie inspired posts. Although I have been making good use of the denim playsuit I bought for the opening and wore it on a little outing yesterday. Lounge with Junior and outfit post
So we often try and go to new places on the weekend and explore Cardiff - even though it's a small city there is always somewhere new popping up that we haven't tried yet. Unfortunately this does not always go hand in hand with our attempt to eat healthy, as our first stop was Cafe Junior - a fairtrade, organic coffee housed in a beautiful church and provides a haven for families as it has a massive play area for young kids with tons of wooden toys. The staff where really helpful and friendly and I loved my chilli chicken salad while John had an italian burger, with a raspberry and white chocolate muffin as a little treat. Arthur also look very stylish with his Gap jeans and hand knitted cardigan. After Cafe Junior we walked to Buffalo lounge - it use to be a cool cafe bar called Mr Smiths - but what is has been replaced with is equally as cool - really quirky interior which I love!! We only stayed for a drink but the food looks awesome so we will be going back. Arthur loo......

WE ARE BACK!
We are back!! Yey! We had to go abit on the quiet as it's been crunch time with studies, but all work has been handed in and I am officially finished University, which means the blog is back with a revengance. Well I thought by now I would have somewhat of a tan and be rocking summer style every weekend, but alas not, this literally has to be one of the worse summers in terms of weather ever - it's simply been cold and miserable except for the odd day of sun (which I have used to full effect), and here is an outfit post from one of those days. There is also something about lens flare that makes me happy and reminds me of summer, even if it's not that warm. Shirt - Gap, Jeans - Next, Shoes - Office, Bracelet - Gifted My new Garden Lantern John's sun flare in Ralph Lauren Tee Peace Laura and John x...
