Wow time is really flying by and I can't believe Baby G is going to be 5 months this week! He has grown so much and is much bigger than what Mr A was at this age. It's strange having a baby who is flying through his clothes - he has been in 6-9 month clothing for more than 4 weeks now and is really solid. He really wants to get moving and has started doing a sort of backwards caterpillar crawl and is rolling all over the place. With not only his mobility improving but we are also gearing up towards the big W that is weaning, which we are aiming to start around 6 months. He sleeps very well in the night but often goes a whole day without a nap no matter how hard we try to get him to settle, although the past two weeks he has started to wake more in the night again as I think he is having a bit of a growth spirt, which has been a bit demanding on my slightly sleep deprived body. He has up until this point been exclusively breastfed, although he doesn't like expressed......

Street Style Sunday - Family style
So we have had a really fun action packed week, making the most of the sunny days and on the rainy ones we have been trying to sort out all of Mr A & Baby G's clothes for what is officially summer, as well as my own. As they are both growing so fast we decided to pop down to McArthur Glen in Bridgend (which I will tell you more about soon) to pick up a few goodies for the family and see what Vans had in store for kids as Mr A thinks Vans and skateboarding is possibly the coolest thing ever and who am I to say anything different. Mr A in a cute Paul Smith tee from Melijoe We have also been embracing shorts the past few weeks as well as the fact Mr A has gone up another shoe size - he has suddenly had a bit of a growth spirt and his Blue Canvas Nike trainers we got from Brantano two months ago finally fit, they are having a huge sale at the moment so it's really worth checking out as these were down from £32 to £16 Mr A wears - Paul Smith T-shirt, Gap k......
Mr A loves baking helping me in the kitchen We spend a lot of time in our kitchen and it really is the heart of our home, it's the place we all come together in the morning and evening, where we discuss things as a family or hear about what each other has done that day, a place we love to bake goodies and where I make our meals. We are also lucky to have a larger kitchen in this house than our last, it has not only a kitchen island but also space for dining table and chairs and double doors out onto our garden and it's somewhere we enjoy being. Saying that there are a few improvements we need to make before putting our house back on the market and I am not just talking a new lick of paint but a total decluttering of the surfaces, replacing the barstools, the ones that came with the house have never really been our taste and the other is the built in Fridge needs to be replaced. This has also made me think about what I would like my dream kitchen to look like and I am ......

Summer Wanderlust Reading List
Every summer I put a little reading list together of books I want to read preferably outdoors in the sunshine and enjoy the simple pleasure of long summer days with a good piece of literature. This year my reading list is made up of 5 very unique books that are set in different parts of the world and I know will make a great travel companion for our summer adventures. 1. Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty - another brilliant book published by Penguin and a real page turner. It's the first on my list and I am half way through and cannot put it down. A story of a mum Jane who had just moved to a new town and the mothers she meets at her son's new school. There is a rather large cast but the main focus is on three ladies who are from very different backgrounds but are connected by their children all starting school at the same time. Everyone has secrets to hide while rumours start to fly, with a murder mystery thrown into the mix this makes for exciting reading. ......
