An eco casual outfit

So we had glorious weather yesterday and it wasn't to bad the day before, which has meant a lot of time has been spent outdoors the past couple of days, going to a country park and then the beach, the best thing though is that it's been warmer in the evenings. John comes home pretty late on occasion so sometimes it's nice to make a little bit of an effort, throw together a nice salad and sit in the garden and enjoy the clear sky (for once). It was a perfect evening to show off my new shorts from the HM Conscious eco friendly range. I love the olive colour and added sparkle from the beads, they are also a nice loose fabric, I paired it up with my lovely printed top from the sustainable and organic label Prana. When I was cleaning out my wardrobe the other day I came across these shoes, which I haven't worn in such a longtime, possibly even before Mr A was born, they are from Rocket Dog and are really cute, comfy and give a little added lift. Kiddicare Bristol Causeway Review and Giveaway

So last week Mr A and I were lucky enough to be invited to a special blogger day at the newly opened Kiddicare in Bristol Cribbs Causeway. Very excited we jumped into the car, breakfast still in hand and made our way across the Severn Bridge from Cardiff to Bristol. I have been to Cribbs Mall before and presumed it was inside the mall, which of course it's not but when we did find it we where blown away, it literally has everything you need when your expecting. Soft and sophisticated

I am very much into broadening my appreciation for different types of jewellery at the moment and I am looking for something new and fresh for summer. I was and still am very much into the hand made, natural bracelets and little boho trinket style necklaces but now that I am getting older I want to invest in things that will stand the test of time and that I could possible hand down to children at some point. As with a lot of my jewellery I wear them until they are completely weathered, worn down or even broken, which I have to admit does take a long time, as I still believe in quality over quanity but perhaps choosing finer long-standing pieces means I can have something that out lives me. This does however not mean I want the design to be boring but still rather youthful and creative. Wychwood Family Festival Review

So two weeks ago we came home from 4 days of blissful camping, music, food and fun, all with a toddler under 3. Now some people would be daunted by the idea of taking a toddler to a music festival but you needn't be, as long as you choose the right festival, with facilities and entertainment for little ones you will be in for a treat. We started our summer off at Wychwood festival in Cheltenham, the weather was not amazing by any standards, it was cold at times and very windy but at it was dry the whole weekend and you cannot ask for more. First impressions of Wychwood - well this is by far the most civilised festival we have ever been to and is perfect for the festival beginner. Over the whole weekend, not once did we ever go to a toilet that didn't have any toilet roll and they were all spotless, plus warm showers and an easy access camping site that was only a few minutes walk from the festival site is all a bonus.
