Dressing to feel and look your best is all about being more positive. Of course, most women have insecurities about their bodies, but choosing a dress that flatters your figure is the best chance to celebrate your body. It is now time to shed your perfect body checklist and work with the features that you have. With some guidance from experts, you should be able to play up your assets and embrace your imperfections. Here are the different types of body shapes : Pear Shaped If you are a pear-shaped woman with fuller thighs and hips its best to choose a dress that is not too short but rather one that is loose in the right places and tailored in the right places to give you shape without being clingy and shows of your best parks. Opting for an A-line skirt that is not too wide is a good option. How will you know that you are pear shaped? Women of this shape tend to wear a different size on top than on the bottom. Khaki jacket & keeping it simple
Don't you just love it when you come across something you know is going to work with so many things and be used over and over again. As I am trying to minimalise so much of life right now so when purchasing clothes I know are going to contribute to a cohesive capsule wardrobe for the coming season is really important. I've been looking for a simple olive green/khaki jacket for a while so when I came across this one in TopShop I knew it would be a good choice and while I had a more tailored shirt or jacket in mind I really love that this one is more loose and casual. I have paired up this jacket with a simple white tee from Mango and a pair of skinny jeans with Ankle boots from Wallis and a Bowler hat from Urban Outfitters with some glasses from the H&M Conscious recycled plastic collection. At the moment I am really enjoying keeping things fairly simple and adding to it, I do however love the colour but I am just playing around with a few things as I just t......

I lost a close friend to cancer recently and have found talking things through and remember the good memories really beneficial and therapeutic. As they say t......

The Gratitude List
Oh life can be complicated and manic at times, it can throw you curve balls that knock you off the path you are walking but these curve balls can also offer great perspective amongst the chaos of running after two children, working and keeping a house in fairly decent shape. Over the weekend I lost someone very important to me and instantly the small things that were bothering you fall away and you question why you were even stressing over them in the first place. It's also made me feel incredibly grateful for the full life I have, the children who certainly keep me on my toes but give me a real sense of purpose and how despite the daily grind have it far better than so many and I reminded myself of this often. So I wanted to share the small things I have been grateful for this month as gratitude is something that constantly has to be renewed. 1. An early morning coffee to myself - I woke up early one day last week and manage a couple of hours child free. At the moment it......
