Like most people we love to indulge in our sweet tooth every now and then and who doesn't love a classic afternoon tea with homemade scones, dainty cakes and delightful creations? When we sat down our table had been laid out with Hendricks teacups and teapot filled with a cocktail of Hendricks Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Maraschino Liqueur, lemon juice and soda and I have to say it was one of the most delicious cocktails we have had in a longtime, so refreshing! Next came the three-tier afternoon tea, starting off with finger sandwiches and freshly baked warm sultana scones. Then an assortment of cakes and pastries which were so beautiful I almost......

Fathers Day Gifts for heart & home
How cute is this French bulldog card from Etsy So fathers day will soon be upon us and it's one of those wonderful days of there year we get to celebrate our partners, husbands, Dads or in fact any man in our life who has a positive impact. I always like to find something a bit different and fun, something that will bring a smile to my OH face and thought I would put a little gift guide together from the small little touches to the bigger gestures, lets treat the men in our lives. 1. Johns favourite city and many others is New York so when I came across this book on Find a Present about the faces, humans and street style in New......

Sand Dunes in South Wales
Oh the bliss of discovering new and beautiful places pretty much on your doorstep. A few weeks back a friend invited me to Merthyr Mawr sand dunes near Ogmore-on-sea a beach we have visited many times but yet had never hear of Merthyr Mawr before. I always get quite excited at the prospect of exploring somewhere new so Mr A and I headed off to what turned out to be a very fun day, so much so that when the bank holiday came around the first thing Mr A wanted to do was take John to see the sand dunes and the ruins of castle nearby. There is an amazing tree on the top of one of the smaller sand dunes which has the most incredible roots and is perfect for climbing, in fact Mr A ate his lunch up there. The landscape of the place almost reminds me California and the fresh sea air is perfect for the soul. The drive to Merthyr Mawr through little country lands pass chocolate box thatched houses only adds to the magic of the place, as you arrive in the carpark which is......
