Light beauty essentials to pack when travelling

When you are going on a holiday, city break or a road trip one of my main concerns is keeping the luggage to a minimum, especially when travelling with children. We only take what we need and try and pack as light as possible. However saying that when you are going from one place to another your skin can sometimes suffer so it is important to pack a few beauty essentials. I keep makeup to a minimum and tend to only take a good moisturiser, foundation and mascara as well as a softening lip balm as lips can start to crack pretty easily when your travelling in a different climate.  We recently went to Brussels and London for a few nights and this is what I packed 1. Heal Ge l eye cream 2. Balance Me Organic Lip Salve  3. Natio Natural Primer with Aloe Vera (compact size) 4. Face and Hand wipes 5. Purity 3 in 1 Cleaners - sample sachets 6. Compact Mirror  Heal Gel Eye Cream - saves the day for me, especially when travelling with a t......

Travels of late....

The Boys on a Beer and Apple juice stop at Munt Punt in the city  So for the past few days we have been enjoying the local delights of Brussels in Belgium after having a quick little holiday via the Eurostar to this rather underrated European city. It was a lovely four days which we cannot wait to share with you but for now here is a little taster.... We have an early morning start from our home in Wales, we arrived in London a little bit nervous about how the underground stokes would affect us but we managed to get to St Pancreas on time (with 5min to spare). It was lovely than to have a smooth 2 hour journey on the Eurostar and spend a warm evening walking around Brussels Grand Place, as well as staying in an amazing hotel - The Dominican (review to follow, highly recommended!) and enjoy breakfast in amazing surroundings. ...

Boys Club - New shoes

Mr A wears New Balance trainers, Mini Club jeans and a Field Life cardigan  So Mr A is very much into what he called "running shoes" at the moment and brighter the colour the better! Both John and I have been eyeing out some New Balance for ourselves lately and came across their kids range which is too cute, well anything that is basically a miniature of adults shoes in our minds is cute. With our Brussels trip and Mr A having gone up a shoe size lately we thought it would be a great time to buy some comfy trainers for a city trip which would involve a lot go walking. We did try to keep Mr A from wearing these until the trip but as soon as he saw them it was love at first sight and they have hardly left his feet since John wears - Ebbets Field Flannels cap, Post Overalls Jacket, Universal Works shirt and Edwin Jeans John also purchased himself a pre-travel accessory in the form of a Ebbets field flannels cap, a company that specialised in vintage authent......
