It's a really scary concept when you put everything down on paper how much it costs to bring up a child but I honestly don't believe it has to be that expensive. LV recently complied some new statistics from the Centre of Economic and Business research that states the cost of bring up a child from birth to 21 has gone up in the past year and is now said to average £227,266 which is simply crazy but it's something that as parents we need to take into account. The report was broken down into various categories from childcare to food, clothing, holidays, hobbies, sports, pocket money, driving lessons etc and is quite comprehensive and even though most households are cutting back on a lot of things the cost of living is still rising and can be quite a scary prospect for new parents or people thinking about having there first child or like us our second. There is an amazing natural world out there to explore - for free! I do however feel that personally we don......

Boys Club - Style and Cuts
So it's been a while since we have done a Boys Club post from Johns point of view and now that we are more settled in our new house it's somethings we are going to be adding to the weekly posts again and John has some great ideas, so watch this space. For now though I thought it would be nice to just have a quick little update on what John has been's been up to, what he has been wearing and whose hair he has been styling of late. John and Mr A on there way to London in there shirts Johns most recent purchases are his Post Overalls Jacket and Grenson brogues as well as the Vera boots he won in an instagram comp just before Christmas. He describes his look at Dad style and I love seeing the two boys together and it can be easy to forget how even when I think my days are very long John comes straight from home after an even longer day at work and or spends all his free time with Mr A, they are so funny together. Mr A's Boden cover design As you may already know both I am the little man are fans of Boden , the quirky and stylish British family brand that never fails in producing very cute and cool kids clothing (as well as adults) and I always look forward to seeing the Mini-Boden catalogue pop through our postbox as it's always filled with stylish inspiration, as well as cute illustrations and fun bits and bobs. Mr A deep in designer mode So we were both very excited when we heard that Boden had developed a super fun little app that allows your little ones to design there very own Mini Boden catalogue which is then sent to them and best of all is that every time someone designs an cover using the app Boden donates £1 to the charity Kids Company -so not only are you having fun but also doing a lot of good! The app was really easy to use and even though this was literally the first time Mr A has ever used an interactive app or "game" on my laptop he got the......

A night at Lab22 with T.M Lewin
We were kindly invited to attend the T.M Lewin "Makeover your Man" Awards at the very chic and stylish Lab 22 right in the heart of the city. The awards were part of a competition run by T.M Lewin and St Davids to help wive's, girlfriends and partners who were tired of their other half not bringing their game when it came to the fashion stakes and entered them for the ultimate Man makeover with some amazing prizes. It's always great seeing creative events such as these happening locally and I have the say the room was filled with some very stylish finalists. We have been meaning to go to Lab22 since it opened and have heard some great things about it. The venue had a lovely intimate and luxurious feel and we plan to go back at some point and try out their amazing cocktail selection. On arrival we were treated to some bubbly a tasty canapés, before the speeches and reveal of the winner which was presented by the special guest and manager of the Welsh FA......
