Festival Fashion - The Accessories

With everyone's eye on Glastonbury the past weekend, who was wearing what, chic outfit inspirations, festival fashion galore and with the festival season in full swing our wardrobe is very much in need of a bohemian overhaul. What we often fail to forget though is it's really not all about the clothes, in fact you can probably work with what you have to nail this seasons festival look, as long as you have the right accessories you can dress up any plain tee and denim shorts to capture that summer of love style. I seriously don't know how Dynamo does it, I am blown away but his street magic every time I see him and I cannot wait for his new show to hit our screens. Travel Tuesday - Inspiration

Oh how I need the sun, and some culture, fresh food and inspiration. We are hoping to go to France at the end of the year - a place I love and have been many times, although there are still many parts I we have not yet explored - one being Mount Saint Michel, a beautiful island in Normandy which an amazing Church perched on the top. This is a place I would love to take Mr A as it looks so magical. Another country I have had the pleasure of exploring is Greece, having been to Athens, Paros, Skiathos and Corfu, it is one of my favourite places and it's not hard to see why - wonderful weather, lovely fresh and healthy mediterranean food and inspiring surroundings. Growing vegetables and chasing chickens

So even though it's been overcast most of the week we have had some great outdoors fun. We have spent a lot of time in the garden this week, de-weeding, attacking brambles which have seems to have just popped out of nowhere and getting our little borders ready for planting potatoes and onions. We have a lot of lovely mint in the garden, which I has grown so well and smells lovely and doesn't seem to get rated by slugs which is good - they too have started to take over our garden and the little man and I are on a mission to make it as naturally free from slugs as possible, we will be making and trying out some slug beer traps next week - will let you know how that goes. Planting our onion seeds Me and Mr A are a real team in the garden and he takes directions really well, I would dig the hole and he would pop in the onion seed - we must of planted about 50 seeds plus a bag of maris piper potato seeds, let's hope we have at least some kind of harvest.
