UK Staycation Boom is Driving the Demand for Luxury Safari Park Lodges

Staycation trends are surging across the country right now, with the latest statistics showing that over 50% of Brits would rather stay domestically than travel abroad. A lot of this is being driven by cost savings, and local businesses are looking to capitalise on it. Safari Parks and Zoos are Expanding their Appeal with Luxury Lodges At one point, if you wanted to sleep next to giraffes or watch zebras out of your hotel window, you'd have to book a safari trip to Africa. Chester Zoo is now offering an African-style safari lodge. London Zoo has a Sleep in the Gir Lion Lodge experience, which is inspired by India’s Gir National Park. This includes a three-hour tour at night. Whipsnade Zoo also offers a Lookout Lodge experience, which allows you to view white rhinos as well as rein......

Why Amsterdam is the Perfect Family destination

Around this time last year we were coming back from a week-long trip to Amsterdam, we had spent a few days in London before taking the train down to the coast and the overnight ferry to the Hoek of Holland, then a high-speed train into the city as part of the Rail Sail ticket Stena Lines offers. I know I couldn't do a lot of the things I do without the support of my mother, something which is even stronger since my father passes away. Unfortunatly my mother has come down with a horrible cold so it was a very brief stop in to give her some flowers before we set off on our adventure across the boarder to England and one of my favourite cities - Bristol, for some fun in the sun (yes it was both sunny and warm!) at Bristol Zoo. 1. Couldn't resist wearing the same shoes as Mr A - Converse all the way 2. A quick little selfie with the little man before bedtime 3. Driving across the Severn Bridge into England 4. The two men mad me breakfast in bed and I go......
