Simple Style with Joules

Joules is one of those great British family brands that creates lovely pieces for any season. I love their approach to simple style as well as their use of pretty floral prints. They have a great understanding of combining practicality and style together to make useable but chic clothing that is perfect for a picnic to a date night, walks along to beach or the school run, so when they asked me to review of piece of clothing from their summer collection I couldn't wait. Summer casual

As the days are slowly starting to get shorter and I can feel the change in the air, I am trying to squeeze every moment of sunshine out of this summer, so as long as it's warm enough I am in shorts. When we go on family walks like we did this day, I like to keep it casual. An eco casual outfit

So we had glorious weather yesterday and it wasn't to bad the day before, which has meant a lot of time has been spent outdoors the past couple of days, going to a country park and then the beach, the best thing though is that it's been warmer in the evenings. John comes home pretty late on occasion so sometimes it's nice to make a little bit of an effort, throw together a nice salad and sit in the garden and enjoy the clear sky (for once). It was a perfect evening to show off my new shorts from the HM Conscious eco friendly range. I love the olive colour and added sparkle from the beads, they are also a nice loose fabric, I paired it up with my lovely printed top from the sustainable and organic label Prana.
