New Me, New Hair

Have you ever woken up and taken a long look in the mirror and feel like you don't know the person staring back at you? Well there was a moment the other day when shopping for my son that I spotted my reflection and I didn't like what I saw. Now don't get me wrong no one pressured me to lose the weight after having my second baby or to spring back into shape and I wouldn't go as far as saying I had let myself go but I certainly had allowed myself to be engulfed by sleep deprivation, a bad diet and not getting enough (or any) time for myself but enough was enough. Street Style Sunday - Beachside Casual

Last weekend we decided it would be a good time to have one last break away being 38 weeks pregnant it would be our last mini-break for at least the next 6 weeks or so. We decided to jump in the car and head to Tenby in West Wales for a night and wow we were so lucky with the weather and had an amazing time exploring the coast, playing mini golf and running on the beach, at one point it was so mild we took our jackets off! Of course it's been a little harder the past few weeks to find clothes that accommodate the bump in a comfortable and stylish way but these stretchy skinny black trousers from Mothercare are so soft and since I am a huge fan of black I have been wearing them a lot lately and paired it up with a Asos Maternity slouch tee and Ralph Lauren denim chambray, Timex watch and gifted snood. Heritage Style with Barbour

I thought I would get one more spring outfit in before the sun really does start to shine. I love British heritage styles and old prints and patterns and to be honest if you stick with classics they never go out of style. I recently picked up this BDG jacket from Urban Outfitters and I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it as it's actually quite thin so I can still wear it in the warmer months but keeps out the wind and being oversized I can layer underneath in the colder months and it goes perfectly with my Barbour Heritage Bird Print shirt. Laura wears - BDG Jacket, Barbour Shirt, Topshop jeans and HM Boots I am in love with the print's vintage feel and it's countryside inspiration and I've not seen anything like this for a while, it feels really unique and captures Barbour's stylish, practical and high quality ethos, something which has stayed with them for the past 120 years. Eco tips for Life, Fashion and Family

So we are always trying to juggle being frugal, eco and up to date with what we need and it can be hard, especially with the current climate and for us personally it has been an expensive month (sob sob) so we are trying hard to save on what we don't need and trying to be ethical and sustainable the rest of the time. Here are a few things we are trying to do at the moment. Fashion 1. Upcyle and thrift - You don't necessarily need to spend loads on organic material and fair-trade clothing, although it's great if you do and I try to when fund allow, but it's equally important to recycle and give life to previously loved garments. The great thing about shopping in charity shops and vintage stores is not only can it's often be cheaper but you can often find unique items. Gok for Tu

So a new Sainsburys has opened near where I live, so today I thought I would check it out, as exciting as supermarket shopping is. I don't normally look at supermarket clothes for myself but a cute little best caught my eye and I noticed that it was designed by Gok Wan. It seems that supermarkets have clicked on to getting creative with collaborations and Gok is a great choice when you are trying to appeal to women of all sizes. I really liked his little 1950's inspired collection, it's pretty simplistic but chic and some of the pieces I could imagine on Lana Del Ray. A vintage highstreet crossover

I love to mix up new and old together and I never get bored of a boyfriend blazer. So here is my vintage and highstreet crossover outfit post, inspired by the catwalk for cause show I attended a few weeks ago.
