Ready for Adventure with Start-Rite

If your a parent you will probably already be familiar with Start-Rite shoes , they are one of the oldest shoe companies in the UK and have graced the feet of Royals since 1955 when a young Prince Charles and his siblings wore them. Kids Fashion - Finding The Balance

When I was younger I was pretty headstrong, my mother would buy me pretty dresses and well let's just say you rarely saw me in anything that I didn't pick out myself. In the end, she caved and would let me dress myself, despite many clashing outfits. Kids Clothes That Make a Splash

If you love exploring the outdoors as much as we do then you will know how important it is to have the right equipment to keep yourself warm and dry over the colder months and this of course doesn't just mean for yourself but also for your children. Investing in well made clothes is really the most sustainable way to shop as they will last longer meaning less waste and having to replace them as often. Sunday Style - Tootsa Macginty

I was always a tomboy even from a very early age I didn't like wearing dresses or anything frilly or bright barbie pink was never going to happen and that was fine, in fact I wore a lot of my older brothers hand-downs in the early years because from the moment I could run I was off adventuring, climbing trees and such and my parents always embraced my personal taste (even if that meant some very interesting family photos with outfits I had put together). Street Style Sunday - Summer vibes

Mr A in a Fat Face t-shirt Finally the sunshine has made an appearance and let's hope it hangs around for a while as it's been refreshing actually being able to wear shorts and sandals again. Mr A has been sporting this lovely green number from Fat Face's new arrivals  - I love the cute chameleon design and it's great to see a brand that has really fun and quirky boys clothes and talking about Fat Face I actually picked up this light floral printed short sleeved shirt and thought I would pair it up with my The Kooples shorts and Sun Jelly shoes. Street Style Sunday - Family style

So we have had a really fun action packed week, making the most of the sunny days and on the rainy ones we have been trying to sort out all of Mr A & Baby G's clothes for what is officially summer, as well as my own. As they are both growing so fast we decided to pop down to McArthur Glen  in Bridgend (which I will tell you more about soon) to pick up a few goodies for the family and see what Vans had in store for kids as Mr A thinks Vans and skateboarding is possibly the coolest thing ever and who am I to say anything different. Street Style Sunday - Boys Club

It's been a bit of a long week, both the Baby and I came down with colds so Mr A has been kind enough to step in for Street Style Sunday this weekend as believe me when I say I have not been looking my best of late but I have a few new purchases I cannot wait to share with you soon. I thought it was also the perfect time to showcase Mr A's new custom hand crafted bag by creative mama Helen from Jack Be Nimble  which is super cute and very well made and I love the retro polka dot print.
