Micro Festivals and Weekend Gatherings 2021

I've been going to music festivals since my teens and have taken both of my boys each summer since they were babies, but of course, the past year has thrown a real spanner in the works and like everyone else in the UK we gladly stayed home last summer but as the vaccine roll-out keeps going from strength to strength and restrictions are slowly easing and as long as infection rates don't rise then there is the possibility that small weekend festivals and gatherings may go ahead this year. Feel Good Fashion

When it comes to fashion I am passionate about buying Fair-trade where possible and what is even better is when I know some of the money is going to a good cause which is a win win all round. So I am really excited about these fair-trade fun and colourful designed t-shirts by the renowned photographer Rankin for the TK Maxx Red Nose day collaboration.  I think that it's really important to educate our children about where clothes come from and how they are made as with most things its something we often take for granted. My son loves learning about the world and finding different countries on his globe and he gets especially excited when things have come from Africa as that's where I was born. The Simple pleasures of outdoor fun

So we are avid believers in spending time outdoors, even when it's cold and overcast , going outdoors and breathing in fresh air really lifts the spirits and best of all it's can be a great way to keep active and entertain a toddler in a natural, inspiring and often free or frugal way. Children need very little encouragement to enjoy the wonders of nature and even a short stroll to a local park or a bike ride can become a real adventure. Our outdoor pursuits have slightly changed in routine since we have been without a car for nearly 3 months now, so we have been staying fairly local more than ever and relying on public transport which is really fun in it's own right. We have also been spending time exploring and playing around in our new garden, we have discovered that we have a bit of cat problem, don't get us wrong, we love cats, just not when they are using our garden at there own personal litter box, so every time we have spied them through our kitchen window......

Botanics Review

I realised I have not done a product review for a longtime and please note this is Not a sponsored review, I bought these myself and I simply want to share what beauty products I am using at the moment. Both John and I lean towards more natural based products and we thought we would give some of the Boots Botanics line a go as they are all plant based products and certified by Kew Gardens and feel very light on the skin. Conditioning Clay Mask - First of all we wanted to find an effective face mask that was quick, easy and simply to apply and something we could fit into our busy lives and a product that doesn't dry our skin out (John has very sensitive skin). We both agreed that only after 15 minutes this mask left our skin feeling so soft and really helped draw out impurities.
