We have been up to a lot this week, I think everyone has as the weather has been simply blissful. We have visited two different beaches and Cardiff Bay for some quality outdoor fun as well as beautiful morning walks and woodland adventures. Simple Style with Joules
Joules is one of those great British family brands that creates lovely pieces for any season. I love their approach to simple style as well as their use of pretty floral prints. They have a great understanding of combining practicality and style together to make useable but chic clothing that is perfect for a picnic to a date night, walks along to beach or the school run, so when they asked me to review of piece of clothing from their summer collection I couldn't wait. I went with this simple denim tunic that is so comfortable and relaxed but tailored at the waist to give you some shape and I am really impressed with the tunics from Joules I can see myself wearing this at some festivals this year and it's very well made and I am sure it was last for many years to come. I have paired it up with my red cheeky shoes to give a pop of colour and my Radley bag and east silver cuff bracelet for a chic daily look. Swedish Style
So we thought we would get the New Year off to a bang by working on the house. We are in desperate need of more shelves in our new home as well as some coat hangers and such things, so off we went to Ikea for some inspiration. The great thing about Ikea is that it's super family friendly, it's the one place the little man doesn't get bored or start moaning about wanting to go home, with lots to interact with and no problems about him running around it takes the stress out of what would normal be a very boring shopping trip for a three year old. I really love the Swedish prints and textiles in Ikea so I decided to rock my floral printed shirt by Soul and my super comfy red cheeky shoes loafers. John wears - Edwin jeans, Folk Jacket, Grenson shoes, Saint James Jumper.
