Autumn Style and October Beauty Essentials

I have been giving my wardrobe a little overhaul lately and rediscovered these Autumn brown chinos I picked up from the Oxfam Boutique store in Cardiff city centre about two years ago and totally forgot about them, perhaps because not long after getting them I feel pregnant and let's just say they have no give in them so quickly were made redundant but I'm really enjoying wearing them now and thats the fantastic thing about putting clothes away during the summer to be welcomes again at the change of the season. I also find Autumn not only the time for jumpers but also long sleeved shirts and this Vero Moda one has always been a bit of a favourite as I am huge fan of monochrome and love the white with the black edges. I've paired it up with my Ralph Lauren bag and Bronx Brogues for a simple and causal look perfect for a spot of lunch in the city. A night at Lab22 with T.M Lewin

We were kindly invited to attend the T.M Lewin "Makeover your Man" Awards at the very chic and stylish Lab 22 right in the heart of the city. The awards were part of a competition run by T.M Lewin and St Davids to help wive's, girlfriends and partners who were tired of their other half not bringing their game when it came to the fashion stakes and entered them for the ultimate Man makeover with some amazing prizes. It's always great seeing creative events such as these happening locally and I have the say the room was filled with some very stylish finalists. We have been meaning to go to Lab22 since it opened and have heard some great things about it. The venue had a lovely intimate and luxurious feel and we plan to go back at some point and try out their amazing cocktail selection. Little Sale wishlist

So January is not only good for looking back and review the past year, making new resolutions and striving to make it a great year, January is also amazing to sales. I haven't had much time to actually go into shops as we are still unpacking from the move and Mr A is more active than ever....so it's all about the online shopping. Came across a cool site called Javelin , it has a ton of brands I love such as Barbour, Vivienne Westwood and Vero Moda to name a few as well as some great men's lines such as Carhartt and Fred Perry, the also one a Drapers Fashion award in 2012 so you know they know their stuff. An outfit for the vintage summer days

So I have been increasing my dress collection at quite a rate lately and when I came across this cute little vintage inspired Vero Moda dress I had to have it. I am big into my sixites feeling at the moment. The material is a little thin, although this is not a bad thing but that makes it even more perfect for lovely summer days drinking Pimms in the garden. So I ordered this dress from Zalando , as with the baby I don't get as much time to visit the shops, except thrift shops of course, which I always make time for. I love to pair up old and new, the heart necklace was found on Porthcawl beach by John's father who is an avid metal detector, it's great, he is always finding little gems. The leather satchel bag is from the thrift shop - Folk Farm, in one of the Cardiff Arcades, the guy who owns it is literally one of the nicest people I have ever met, with a real San Francisco laid back vibe to him. My shoes I have had for years, they are brown suede heels from The Off......
