Boys Club - a new jacket

John wears Alban Jeans, Ralph Lauren Tee, Joe Browns Blazer, Superga Shoes It's all shades of blue this week with salvage denim in the from of Albam jeans with a Ralph Lauren striped tee but with the sun is starting to come out and the heavy winter jackets are now being replaced by lighter ones such as this laid back blazer from Joe Brown to create a casual, practical but also on trend look. As with everything John wears he likes the small detail and the use of red stitching in the jacket around the button eyelets. Joe Browns is not a label John knew of before after being sent this jacket by their lovely team it has really sparked his interest. The little man has also been sporting a new Joules long-sleeved dino tee this week which was a present from the grandparents. it's funny a he normally loves having his picture taken but this week not so much, so I had to do it literally on the run. Summer in my heart

Ever since we have started to have fleeting moments of good weather, blissful warmth on the skin again, my heart has kept into summer even if the season have not, although not too long now. The year is flying by, we are already into May and one thing is for sure I won't be missing any sunny days this summer. I am ready, I have some new boat shoes, short-sleeved tees waiting to be worn and a lovely new beach bag from Joe Browns that I am so in love with and cannot wait to use and being a big fan of Breton stripes this suits me perfectly alongside being able to throw anything into it and setting off on an adventure or road trip of some kind. Camp Bestival Festival Fashion

I love festivals as it's a great excuse to wear things you may not always have time to wear in the "real" world. Cardiff Blogger Meetup Style

So on the saturday just past was an amazing little meet up of fashion/beauty and lifestyle bloggers in Cardiff, I had met quite a few before but it's great talking to people you have never met and making new blogger friends. Everyone looked very stylish and this is what I wore to the meet... I went for a sort of high street style with a TopShop denim jacket, Next white tee, thrifted River Island skinny jeans, Collection by Debenhams Bag, Joe Browns ring and HM wedge shoes. I opted for wedges this time as at every other meet or event I am often the shortest so I just wanted to add a little bit of height and they are comfy so even though it was quite a long day I didn't have any problems being on my feet most of the time. The meet started at The Brewhouse - formally the Rock Hard Cafe and it was really nice to see new life coming into this great building. They had some great deals on cocktails - I went for the Cucumber crush - so yummy and they had the Lush Lad......

Stella and Dot trunk show

First of all, what I wore to the Trunk show - I was going to be on my feet for a while so I wanted something casual but also very me, so went for a vintage high street mashup. The jacket is Braemar velvet jacket I picked up from a charity shop a few years back, the T-shirt is from H&M, Next Skinny Jeans, Doc Marten shoes paired with a lovely vintage bag my mother picked up from a market in Italy. My accessories include a peace necklace from Topshop, a ring from Joe Browns and my watch from Guess I had heard of Stella and Dot before but had never actually seen the jewellery in person so it was great to go along to a Stella and Dot trunk show that was happening in Cardiff. The event was organised by a fellow Cardiff based blogger Chantele from Daisy Dayz  so it's always great to support something local. Joe Browns Summer love

So I was really hoping spring would of sprung by now at this is such a cute vintage inspired dress perfect for the season that brings the flowers into bloom and say's goodbye to the darker shades I have been wearing over the winter. As soon as I saw this little Gingham pin-up-esque style dress I thought that would be a great addition to my wardrobe especially since I have a wedding that I will be attending next month and wanted something a bit different to wear. The dress comes from the colourful and creative lifestyle brand Joe Browns which has some wonderful summer dresses, jewellery and mens wear inspired by places like Miami and Rio they will bring that beach feeling right into your home.
