Snippets from our Interrail Adventure

Chillin in The Vatican We have recently got back from the most amazing adventure, by train, across Europe, on a budget. I have so much to write up about our trip but I thought I would share a few snippets while I put more in-depth posts together.  Firstly it was amazing to be able to travel again in what felt like pre-pandemic times, yes we had to wear masks on all the German trains but that didn't bother us at all and we are more than happy to comply with any travel requirements, as long as we can travel.  I was so excited to take the kid's Interrailing as it's something I've done myself a few times before having children and it's certainly not just for 20's something backpackers but suitable for all ages! 5 Reasons why I can't wait to revisit Germany

*This post contains affiliate links I have been lucky enough to visit Germany on a few occasions and have spent time in Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin and I'm really hoping to revisit again, hopefully, this year as there are so many reasons why from their beautiful scenery, amazing food, beer, architecture and culture and I've only ever had positive travel experiences there and can't wait to go back. Travel Tuesday - an African childhood

Both John and I have done quite a bit of travel and John will feature in this weekly post as well but for now this is my journey with a little bit of my background. Basically, I was born and grew up in South Africa, to a South African father and a Welsh mother.
