Watch wish list

Me wearing my thrifted Gap shirt Guess watch on a lovely summery day It's the one accessory that nearly all of us wear or at least own and the best thing about watches is not only are they very practical of course but can also be very stylish, original and unique. Depending on what mood I am in I either go for a small and dainty watch or my bigger and bolder Guess one, although I would love to add more to my collection and have a bit more of a choice. John is currently saving to get a time piece that is an investment and something he can hand down to Mr A one day, his current loves lie with Omega's Heritage and Moon watches. Our favourite new things

So did you get what you hoped for for Christmas? We made a point of not asking for anything - this way it was all a surprise.  Here are the four things we are enjoying most of all.... My Chanel makeup gifts from John - a real treat! It consist of a quadra eye shadow - in natural "mystic shades" and Rouge Allure lipstick as well as eye pads and make-up brushes, can't wait to try them out. We are both loving our new street style instalment from The Sartorialist - his follow up book - amazing as usual and highly recommended. This digital radio was a present from my mother to both John and I as a house warming gift and also we have been sitting in silence at breakfast due to our radio breaking during the move...we love the Britannia feel to it Mr A is having hours of fun with his toll bench, he loves to hammer the big nails in and them get them our and scream on the wood and it's great for building co-ordination and spacial awareness skills. ...

Sharing the love Saturday

So I am really really sad not to be at London Fashion Week this week - its the first time in a few years I have not attended, but working freelance sometimes means it's hard to get the time off. But I have booked the whole week free for Sept Fashion Week (which I am really looking forward too) although next weekend Canon Calumet have invited me to work as a press photographer for London Fashion Weekend, so I suppose it's not the same but equally fun :). But in the same vein in London Fashion week - once of the most popular shows last year was TopShops - full of fun and stars adorning the front row. So here is my current Topshop fave looks and they really are mixing it up and taking risks this season. How cute is this outfit!! Love this! TK Maxx AW lovin

So on tuesday the fabulous people over at TKmaxx treated me and a few other lovely bloggers to an amazing lunch at Paramount, London. This restaurant has simply one of the best views across the city and was an awe inspiring setting for what turned out to be a wonderful fashion packed day. Had a chat with Sophia (of the TKmaxx TV fame) on how they select and buy the products for TKmaxx and the new labels that form part of their Gold Label - which includes Marc Jacobs, Versace, D&G, Moshcino The food was incredible and the wine was flowing as well as the conversation, had a great chat to Pinkbow, Wolfwhistles , These Girls Turn heads and Fashion Pearls of Wisdom , it's always super to meet fellow bloggers in person, especially when you have followed them online.
