Ethical beauty products - what we are using

So we love to try new beauty products and it's important to us they are cruelty free, preferably naturally based and with a brand that has some ethical morals. This of course cannot always be the case but we truly believe your skin will be thankful for products that are soft and plant based. We have purchased all of these products ourself and it's what we are using at the moment and all feelings expressed are completely our own 1. Toms - Natural Deodorant - A crystal Zinc based deodorant made in Maine using sustainable practices and recycled packaging. It's strange looking at the back of a product and seeing very few ingredients - this is basically made up of naturally sourced Zinc and Potassium that helps fight odour causing bacteria. It's light, fragrance free and perfect for sensitive skin. It does take a few days to really start working and I find it's great for day to day use although if I know I am going somewhere hot, stuffy or an important social event ......

Kamigata Express and Pamper

Wow last week I was really made to feel pampered, and it came just at the right time with all the house moving stress in my life. I was lucky enough to try out the new Kamigata Express Service and for those who don't know who or what Kamigata is, it's a swish newish hair, beauty and spa hotspot right in the centre of Cardiff, found in St Davids 2. So what is the express service? It's amazing for one thing, but to be exact it's perfect for those who are short for time but want to be made up before going out or to an event or if you just feel like treating yourself and it includes a lovely Aveda mini-facial, manicure and a blow-dry from one of their professional stylists. So here is how my personal experience went, first of all on arrival the staff were very friendly, welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. I had a few minutes to browse all the products in the reception area and then was taken over to the little spa bar and sat in a very cool vintag......
