Simple Wedding Makeup with No7

So as you know I recently attended a wedding and with it being such a smart affair I think you really need to be careful about what makeup you do use and don't go too over the top. Quality is very important as you want something that is going to stay put all day. I have had some wonderful No7 products waiting to be used and thought this was the perfect time to create something simple but chic and create a little TaDah moment. I love their Stay Perfect super light foundation which went on really smooth and is something I am now using daily. It's perfect for all skin types and is a light to medium coverage. I also used the concealer stick in the same shade to cover the dark circles under my eyes and is an essential in any mamas handbag. I was immediately taken by the sparkly Lash Impact mascara which really did make an impact on my lashes and was very easy to apply and control. I paired this up with the gold shimmery eye shadow stick to add some subtle sparkle to my......

Beautiful Bathroom Beautiful Skin

One day I will have a roll top bath ( image ) I am sure there must be a connecting between a beautiful bathroom and beautiful skin, it's a but like a messy house means a messy mind, so a simple and stylish bathroom with perfectly organised storage space and beauty products would mean you would be more on top of your beauty regime. I know personally when I have things organised and within arms reach I tend to use things more, wether this means having my toner one hand or nail varnish I am more likely to make the effort. Nothing better than simple and clean design ( image ) I also find having a simple and stylish bathroom a better place to relax and it's somewhere that can you can transform into your own little retreat, which can be rare when you have kids. The bathroom can be a really inspirational place but can become easily cluttered so it's important to keep on top of things, especially beauty products, make sure you detox your bathroom every now and ......

A minty Nail Polish

I love all the pastel trends at the moment, especially all the new nail polish shades, so when I came across this Mint Choc Chip colour I had to get it, it's fun yet mellow and it's part of No.17 Lasting fix range - a range that is meant to last up to five days and chip free colour. I am always chipping my nail polish as most of my work is heavy on the hands, with a toddler to look after on top of that, so I am always up for trying very reasonably priced nail varnish in the hope it may last more than two days.....so we will see.  I was very happy with the colour, my only negative so far is it's quite slow drying time and I am terrible for fidgeting so I usually use speedy 60 seconds nails, but hopefully this will be worth it. Thanks for reading Side Street Style...

Anyone for tea?

So I had a family event to attend a few weeks ago (when it was sunny) and I want something that was casual yet chic with a vintage sort of feel to it as the day included tea outside and wanted something fun but it also needed to be fairly smart. I didn't have much time to shop so I was very happy when the first store I went into was Dorothy Perkins and saw this little tea dress. I also paired it up with a little New Look headband, shoes from Office, my mothers bracelet, perky little peach nail varnish and a thrifted Leather Satchel. Dress - Dorothy Perkins, Shoes - Office, Headband - New Look, Bracelet - gifted, Bag - thrifted We have also done the draw for The Sphere of life necklace giveaway. We do the draw pretty old skool - everyone who entered has their name printed out and we randomly pick one and the winner is Rosie from the blog - A Pocket Full of Rosie. Don't worry we are running another giveaway soon and if your following the blog you get an automatic en......
