If you are a regular reader of my blog you probably already know that John sports a beard, at times its been very big and wild and other times is neater and more styled, either way it's been a longtime since I've seen him with a smooth face and our eldest wouldn't want it any other way. In fact I have mentioned before that John did shave it once when our eldest was about 2yrs old and wow was he upset! He was so distraught by this sudden change in his fathers appearance that John has never done it since and probably won't for a longtime if Mr A has anything to do with it. The one thing I have noticed is that is has not changed how affection is show between the two of them and both our sons love nothing better than a tickly kiss off their Dad and that is what Fathers Day should be all about, the simple things.
