Easy ways to keep your kids room tidy

While unfortunately, house chores can unavoidable there are ways to reduce the amount of time you spend doing them. My Home and Interior goals for the summer

The time has finally come to really work through the snagging list in the house, the thing I have been wanting to do for a while now but when your in the mists of baby and toddlerhood your main focus is usually just trying to get through the day in one piece, let alone start thinking about house renovations. Of course it's possible with very young children - we did a lot of renovations when my eldest was in his early years but with two boys, working from home, school runs and everything else in between I wanted to wait until we got out of those initial stages of chaos. Now that my youngest is four things are getting much easier and finally more time and effort can be put towards getting the house to a place I am happy with. How To Create a Minimalist Inspired Kids room

As some of you may know as part of my Minimalist challenge I'm currently working my way through each room in our house, decluttering with the clear aim of a creating a simpler home filled with all the things we truly love and that contribute towards our lives in a positive way. Nursery Prints

I love this simple and nature inspired wallpaper print ( image ) So I cannot believe I am already 32 weeks and we haven't even really started on the nursery, so that is our first port of call for the New Year and what a fun project it will be (hopefully). We recently picked up some lovely printed wallpaper from Laura Ashley which I cannot wait to share with you all. I have to admit I have never really bought into the "statement wall" trend unless done very well, although I have to say that I do think it works best in a nursery or kids room as that is the type of place you can really have some fun and it's the type of room that you need to inject a bit of colour and texture.
